    The NBA Draft is Thursday night, July 29, 2021, starting at 6:00pm Central time and televised on ESPN. The Rockets have three first-round picks: #2, #23 and #24.

    Please start a new thread for each individual pick made by the Rockets so fan comments can be focused on that specific player. Thank you!

    I need a Jalen Green jersey for tomorrow night. Also an Usman Garuba one and possibly a TJ Thor or Sharife Cooper. Isaiah Jackson, Ayo Dosunmo, or some other player with a name I don’t know how to spell yet but I need their jersey. Regardless... my body is ready.

    Still prefer Mobley but I am ride or die Green once that pick is in. Now focused on what players to put around Jalen. I am very interested in the facts that half of the mocks out there have Jalen Johnson available at 23/24. Also seeing Thor dropping to the second round. Will be very upset if Stone doesnt cop some seconds this year as there are a ton of guys that I could see becoming assets with the minutes the Rockets will have to give as they rebuild. Thor, Lewis, Wieskamp, Grimes, Edwards, the list goes on and on.

    I’m nervous as a cat. I feel like Roy Batty’s on the other side of a thin wall, howling at me like a Dire Wolf from Game of Thrones (yeah, I like mixed metaphors). I just know something’s going to hit us from left field. A surprise we didn’t see coming, which doesn’t seem possible, given that there’s a thread about what must be every damn thing imaginable.

    Players Iam going to be watching are Jared Butler, Sengun, Garuba, Sharpe, and Jalen Johnson. These are my favorite attainable picks at #23/24.
