    Green: I'm an enviro-nazi
    Vegan: I'm vegan
    76: That's the year I was born

Why I chose to combine these three random ideas into a user name, only Jack Daniels knows.

    I agree. :D

But if I ever have a cat, I'm calling it Limp Bizcat.

If I have a pet goat, I'll call him Kid Rock.

I will name my pet bee Beeonce, and my pet pig will be Linkin Pork.

i moved to 110th and Lexington in February 2001, registered on this board a month later with the Bobby Womack song stuck in my head(there is a blaxploitation film of the same name, but I heard it first in Jackie Brown.

I've moved since, but "acrossyorkavenue" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

...i thought i answered this one two years ago, but it must have been another handle thread

"you don't know what to do till you're put under pressure,
    across110thstreet's a hell of a tester"

C = Intitial of my first name
    O'Dell = My middle name

Its not Code II (2), despite what DrofDunk has always thought.

When I first got on here I was rockethead - I lost my password and email account and came back as oomp, short for oompahead, which was my email address at the time.

I like Gene Wilder movies, I can't help it.

It doesn't look like I posted in this one, unless I missed it...

ROXRAN...All capitals because the meaning is exuded from 3 important aspects all intertwined...

ROX: First 3 letters of my wife's name...Also to suggest "Rocks" (corn slang for Rockets)

RAN: First 3 letters of my actual name...

I merge this together because I actually met my wife, at a Rockets game... (We kept giving each other the eye...The Rockets game gave us a chance to break the ice.)

Well, I think Jack was clever nonetheless. ;)

I like the stories everyone. Keep 'em coming!

I like the psychology of it all... being that I'm a student of the human psyche.

I appreciate the brutal honesty, the sheer embarrassment, and the rich detail.

Hey, believe it or not your "moniker" or "handle" or just plain "username" - even those descriptors - speak volumes to me about your personality.

I love this stuff. I'm wierd.

BTW - I'm convinced Lhutz started a reality, and ended a mirage.

I remember back in 5th grade or so I was looking for something around my room that could give me an idea of what to make my nick for some online game. I saw the name Uprising on a magazine of mine, it was a computer game. I liked the way it sounded, and ever since I have used this nick as almost everyone of my sign on names online.

I would love to see his first post. Heck, I'd love to see my first post or anybody's first posts. I bet we'd all have a good laugh.

I agree though, keep the good stories comin'.

"Slim Citrus" is an anagram of my real name.

EDIT - Actually, technically, "S£im Citrus" would be more accurate.

That's true! It would be cool to see our first posts. I know mine was in the GARM. I never wandered over to the Hangout until like a year or two after finding this site.

Same here, I used to post things like, Shaq is a fat _____, and gems like, Why doesn't Cuttino pass, why?

Then one day I got in an argument over in the D & D, how I found it I don't know.

You've discovered the secret, my name means NOTHING when spelled backwards.

    Shameful isn't it.
