Im not worried about it. Highest pick in either of those prior 2 examples was like #12. We just need to focus on getting #2 right this year, and take homerun swings with 23/24 and if those dont work out then its no big deal.
Todd is your kind of player. He’s going to be really good and kind of got hidden in the GLeague. I’d be excited with him.
The Rockets are looking to go with 4 guard lineups to see if they can lose literally every game this season
Not a great finisher in the paint, not a good defender, not a good rebounder, doesn't draw fouls He reminds me of Kyle Kuzma, okay for a mid 2nd but wouldn't be very excited for him at 23/24
[/QUOTE] Just watching some of his highlights. He has very good vision and passing but I don't see a "great" athlete at all. He looks ok for the Aussie league, but in the NBA will it even be average? You'll never get me to say no after Luka but... He's a pretty big T-rex too! 6'8'' with a 6'7'' wingspan. Even JG has more than that! He is only 18 though, but I don't know if I'd want to give up 23 and 24 plus for him.
Kuzma is 22 when he got drafted, this kid is 19. Too bad the Rox dont have any more picks but him and EJ Onu might have been good prospects for 2nd round flyers. This draft is notable imo for having a boatload of guard and "unicorn" level prospects. 6'8-6'10 athletic pogosticks with stretch are supoosed to be rare but there's like 5 of them in this draft.
Bones Hyland only 6'2.5 but has good wingspan, better than 6'6 Green, 6'9 vs. 6'7.5. 6'5 Grimes had 6'8 wingspan. Rather have 6'4 Scottie Lewis with 7'0 wingspan..
