There is no way Watson is traded before this has some resolution. With 10 police complaints to go along with the Civil stuff, there is no way teams are giving up #1 picks. Unless a team thinks they can get him on the cheap, there is no way a trade is happening.

The coach/GM that traded Hopkins lost his job as a result of it. I don't think his goal was ever to have a new regime in the first place.
They also admitted he slept with them (“was that wrong?”) and tried to blame the # of women on covid. Him doing something wrong and them wanting to get paid as a result are not mutually exclusive.
I can tell you that a lot of GMs say that they care about this stuff, but internally they really don't. Winning is all that matters and they are trying to lowball the Texans, using the scandal as an excuse.
