I feel more comfortable throwing 8 figures at Olynyk versus Tucker.

I wonder what Milwaukee will offer him
On the resign. They don’t really have a choice but to resign.

Milwaukee will have to further break the bank and keep PJ Tucker. Well, even if his new contract pays similar to what he made on his last contract, Milwaukee is a small market team, championship (congratulations) notwithstanding. But it's the price of success. If Milwaukee has a championship hangover for the next season, season-and-a-half, they'll find ways to chip at the edges of their cap situation.

I hope we keep Olynyk. Unfettered, he really played well for us. Let's see if Tilman remembers where he left his wallet: "Dad, don't you remember? You left it at Landry's last night. The restaurant called, they're sending someone to bring your wallet over." "Oh, yeah, yeah. God, that gumbo I had was just awf....uh, is that camera rolling?"

Exactly! And we'll have plenty of "yay! great moves!" and a few "that's it, I'm done, I'm turning in my Rockets lifetime membership" (although they'll come slinking back because divorce is sooooooooo messy).

Man he’s one of the dudes I look forward to seeing progress as Rockets. Moreso than Tate or KJ.

But he has options outside of HoustonX they can play if they want, he’s already on team radars. Once he becomes a restricted FA, teams will pounce. He’s a younger Seth Green at this point l. Catch and shoot specialist with more athleticism

Mannn KP is different. I swear if he keeps it straight “between the ears” he can and will be a superstar in this league. It’s just too easy for him.

…not holding my breathe though - which is why I think we’re trying to draft a star/franchise guy - since front office clearly doesn’t view KPJ as one.

Not really. kJ is a positionless player. It remains to be seen can his skill set translate on a winning team. Int not even clear if he can be as impactful as a chuck Hayes, let alone PJ Tucker, as a small ball big. But I hope the best for him

we know Brooks can go play for any team with a facilitator and make an immediate impact.
Brooklyn already is rumored to be interested in Brooks and Nwaba

Lol. Brooks will be lucky to get 5 mins a game for any team in the NBA. Brooklyn can have him. KJM is a future all-star in my opinion. Brooks will barely crack a rotation.
