Did James Harden prove tonight that the voters got it right?

Ridiculous. It took way too long to put together a great roster that really fit, with coaching that was actually somewhat competent.

All this Harden hate because he was hobbled on the Nets roster, and Giannis won the chip with a great roster and coaching staff...

There's so many variables to keep track, all you want to do is critique Harden for all his shortcomings. He has some, but literally every player does.

 

Harden obviously has elite skills and production so it's never a guarantee a new guy produces that much. However, I know Jalen Green is more of a gamer and absolutely has a great chance to become a star.

Harden usually produces more than Booker but Booker performed much better in this years playoffs than Harden ever did. Trae Young has already shown an ability to galvanize a team in the playoffs more than Harden.

Luka at age 22 is already showing more dog and fight than Harden ever did in the playoffs. Character matters.

Harden was the main workroom leader and set a terrible culture. Kevin Mchale was right on his comments about how Harden affects team energy in the playoffs. "It's a tie game at half. It's a playoff game, or you're playing another team that's tough and rumble, and they're going to get after you. And all of a sudden, with four minutes to go in the third, you're down nine. They're getting every loose ball, they're getting every rebound, they're doing this stuff. It's not about skill at that point. It's about will. I gotta impose my will on you. James at that point gets a little bit -- that's not his personality."

I'm telling you. Green is the real deal when it comes to responding to pressure, energizing his team, and inspiring the guys. His play and personality is so electric and vibrant. Harden always been aloof.

 

I just don't know how Harden is not considered a gamer. I get the criticism, I get it didn't end well in houston. But the dude is a kller, you don't do that for that long without it.

In any case, obviously green may be our guy and so thus I hope hes better than harden. Al though I see more KPJ harden similiarities and I Think Green is going to be his own type of star.

Notice that booker, also underperofmed for years, has a team who paid for plyers we didnt, namely obvously an aging paul...basketball is not like baseball, stats and production are based on cohesion and team . Suns did it right this year, they paid for ariza whwne we wouldnt which led too...kelly oubre...guess what ? Kelly oubre and rubio turned into...paul, the other guy we didn't want....they had a hell of a showing with that.

I'm a believer in Green, that just doesn't mean to be to disaparage maybe one of the greatest players and production this franchise has seen. I don't need to do all that when the ownership **** on his title window, any leader...lebron, kj, jordan, kobe...they'd all leave and they have or demanded more under similar circumstances.

That said, I hope green is better and I'm excited about this kid. CAn't wait!

 

btw how many games he played in RS and how many in the playoffs?

 

even if it backfired that just goes to show that fans have the power and that all this cf talk is not for naught...you should respect your fans and respect the game
