I had the same thought. Leak Green's name as the probable pick to entice Cleveland to trade up, if you have intel that they prefer Green. Wall and #2 for Love and #3 would be a Tilman-friendly deal.

The problem is you are using hindsight since we already know Lou Williams career. Also Lou Williams was used as a way to denigrate Green to imply he will just be one dimensional. If Lou Williams was redrafted, would he be a top 5 pick? Top 3 pick? In consideration for the #2? I don't think so.

That's what I meant. Cleveland seems to value and favor Mobley a lot more than Houston does. Why not extract a FRP or two in addition to switching places in the Draft and getting Green, who the Rockets value more than Cleveland.
Don't get me wrong. There are a couple of middle-aged white guys on this board who still want to adopt Kevin Love and believe he walks on water (whereas if I were Kevin Love these days I wouldn't even try to cross water in a boat).
The Rockets would be lucky to get a player with half of Harden’s talent. Harden left and Houston went on to have a losing streak longer than their total win number. They are currently unable to play .250 level basketball. Then there is Tilman….I get the desire for hope but let’s be realistic
Honestly man, idk, a lot of good posters here (including moes) left the board for good because of the change of heart that was had towards that situation/person. It would have been nice if the decision stayed as was.
That's probably a possible way Green could turn out, a sixthman type offensive spark on a contending team. If that's the floor, it's not the end of the world either tbh. You can say that about most players, Suggs could be a Markelle Fultz, Mobley could be a worse JJJ or Mo Bamba. etc.
I would love have Mobley to be a Giannis antetokoumpo, drive hard to the basket. Probably most likely a pick and roll player and hook shot, mid range shot player with excellent defence.
