Well, whatever it is, he's got the off-season to recover (assuming that's all it'll take). I worry more about the fact he's had a few injuries already in his career.
At least Khyri is on a Multi Year Deal. Armoni Brooks should be locked on a Multi Year Deal also. The more shooters the better.
He's had at least one injury to his foot that required surgery and I think he had some hamstring issues, as well. From reading about him a while back, those were among the reasons that held him back with the Pistons or got him off to a slower start.
Bump* I almost forget this guy is on the roster while we try to figure out if Jaesean is a regular starter at (#2, 3) or fits more in the 6th man role. That said, what about Khyri's prospects. 6' 3" with a 6'10" so the size at the two is less of an issue. He's not quite the leaper that you would get in Jalen Green. That said, if KPJ is our future point, do we then go with Mobley due to size?
Yeah I want another look at this guy during summer league. Assuming no Cade..who is BPA? Online tubers say Mobley..... fans want Green!
Let's leave it for Stone to figure it out. I want the cat who is working the hardest to improve their weaknesses. The workouts and psychological tests are important in my opinion.
He had a good showing in the limited games played. His defense is much desired. Team needed him in an injury ridden year as much as he needed the opportunity for exposure. If position open, yes.
I love Khyrie Thomas, he’s a dog and every team needs a player like that. But if a FO is using him to justify not drafting a player, that GM needs to be taken to the shed and put out of his misery. This roster has hardworking players but no one aside from KPJ (so far) screams special talent.
This!! Khyri is a great rotation player. But not a star, and you don't make draft decisions on the 2 pick based on bench players...
