Poor man’s Olynyk? Should we try to sign him if Olynyk doesn’t come back? With 30 minutes per game, he could blossom into a nice center in Silas’ system. Only downside is that he doesn’t really grab enough boards for his size.

Kaminsky might be hands down the worst player to ever be part of a rotation in the finals. This guy can literally not do anything besides maybe lay it up if wide open.
I don't think we need to sign either. Frankly with the plethora of C's out there. It would be better to just trade for one. Atm we have signed for next season 10 players. We are going to sign Brooks according to club insiders. Plus 2 / 23 / 24 That's a 14 man roster already. Even if we trade a player away we probably get an expiring back. Wood. Tate. House. I believe Avery Bradley is a team option. I would not be picking that up if I were the Rockets. But that in no way means I support signing Kaminsky.
Armoni Brooks. A former UH kid that they signed and played some at the end of the year and he actually played pretty well.
Bradley is a team option. No way we pick that up. Gordon will be packaged for a move up in the draft. House will likely be moved, in my opinion. Augustin could easily be moved. Wall, Cade, KPJ, Augustin would be too redundant in the trade up scenario. We will try to sign Olynyk. If we can’t sign Olynyk and can’t trade up for Cade we might push for Kai Jones, as he is developing rapidly and his three point touch fits with Silas’ system. I’d rather trade down for Kai than draft Mobley, personally. A lot of moving pieces in this draft. I like Jericho Sims too, but the Rockets have made it clear that they’re not interested in bigs who can’t hit threes.
I mentioned Frank (earlier in the season and prior) along with Kelly Olynyk as good fits for the Rockets. Frank has been more than adequate for the Sun's during the reg season as they fought for 1st and 2nd seeds. If Frank was a liability for the Sun's it must have been minimal during the regular season. We may have to sit him during the playoffs.....but Brook Lopez and Ayton are proving the Big Men can still be serviceable during the playoffs.
Kaminsky sucks, but if he wants to come here on a vet min then whatever…don’t really care about vet min signings for this team right now
Get younger... draft a big, throw him in the G League for development. Jericho Sims would be a great target in the middle of the 2nd round.
