Anybody remember using "Live" (rhymes with knive)?

as in "That is so live"

I remember using it around 87ish, but nobody else really remember it. Then just the other day I saw an old video online and a kid said it and it justified my memories.

Parents moved us to the DC area, Langley Park MD, for a short time. I still remember the first time I sad "fixing to" in front of my classmates. I was a "Hillbilly" from that point on.

In that vein, an army buddy from Valdosta, GA would say, "It don't make me no never mind." instead of "I don't care."

Also, older ladies in Maryland call everybody "Hon".

Idk I've just only ever heard southern people say that ****.

Or calling a toilet a commode. Or a tv remote a clicker. Or just use of the word "yonder" lol

this has to do w pronunciation in the Boston / NE region,

the r immediately after the first vowel in the word is not recognized by the local speakers.

    egs include

translated to mean "use your blinker",

"Pahk the cahk in Hahvahd Yahd" is translated to mean "Park the car in Harvard Yard",

"you have a bad odahd" is translated to mean"you have a bad order", etc.
