I too believe that the Brooklyn assets will get better.

He forgot to add that Jalen Green scored 1 point in the FIBA Gold Medal game (on the same team as Suggs and Cade).

The 2024, and 2026 first round picks I would say are some of the premier trade assets a GM could trade for right now. I think the Nets could win it all next year but their window is not more than a couple season, and even if they extend the big three past 2026, there's a really good chance by even 2024 that injuries and age take their toll, and that team is tore down.

I do think the 2023 Milwaukee pick just depreciated in value though. Most GM's would probably assume that win or lose in the finals this week, that team is going to be good for awhile. Nobody will be saying that about Brooklyn. That team could be blown up in a year.

Think they should draft Suggs then?

Cause Mobley didn't even get on the court that game... one of his 5 DNP-coaches decisions that tourney. But hey, in the other 2 games he did play in he shot 0-2!

    * note, idgaf about these games/stats, lol.. just playing devil's advocate

Do not let Pistons AINGE you Stone!!! Stay at 2.

Adding Cunningham would do little to address the Pistons’ lack of athleticism among their best young players. With two elite athletes -- Evan Mobley and Jalen Green -- among the top three prospects in this year’s draft, the Pistons have to ask themselves, is Cunningham so much better than Mobley and Green that they should take him anyway?

Ford is out of his mind - 23, 24, Wood, EGo AND swap 2 for 1?????

Pistons should take Jalen Green and let Cade slide down to 2

lol... "Cade makes no sense for the Pistons, they should take Green!... just squeeze an extra lotto pick out of Houston!!!"

if Cade makes no sense for Detroit, why would Houston trade them an additional lotto pick to not take him?

Suggs may very well be the best player after Cade. Watch the Gold medal game and it’s hard to deny his talent. Cade is the prize, but not sure if Detroit will trade him. They can’t make any draft pick trades until 2029 if they don’t get their pick back from us, so there is some hope. Hopefully they’ve bought into the Green hype and overlook his matador defense.

Regarding that U19 final in 2019:

Definitely looks bad for Green, but if we had picked the semis against Lithuania, then it'd have looked pretty bad for Cade (and good fro Green).

    https://www.fiba.basketball/world/u19/2019/player/Cade-Cunningham
    https://www.fiba.basketball/world/u19/2019/player/Jalen-Green

Mobley only played a total of 8 minutes across 2 games. I don't know the story here, but it's possible he got injured early, came back a few games later, and got injured again.

    https://www.fiba.basketball/world/u19/2019/player/Evan-Mobley

    For completion, here is Suggs:

    https://www.fiba.basketball/world/u19/2019/player/Jalen-Suggs

They all shot pretty badly from 3.

    The roster: https://www.fiba.basketball/world/u19/2019/team/USA#|tab=roster

Chad Ford hasn't been on the scene in a while. Maybe found nirvana in Tibet while smoking a bong there to come up with that bullshite trade.

"He is decent defensively but not exceptional. Green should be able to dart into passing lines more often than he does, and his first slide actually looks slow — it’s surprising how often he was beaten off the dribble. However, he competed, and he has the athleticism to surprise shooters with shot challenges."

John Hollinger has a different take on JG's defense as of July 14th.

He has Green at 5, and Mobley at 2. There is no way that Kuminga is better than Green.
