Marcus Morris is more Carmelo Anthony than Jalen Green will ever be Kobe. Guaranteed.

And while I’m here, Cade will be more Andrew Wiggins caliber than Luka.

Mobley however is Tim Duncan’s brain in KG’s body.

Oh give me a freaking break and quit comparing Green to MJ. Not even in the same stratosphere. Best comparison is Westbrook with no D, rebounding, or assists.

So, Westbrook with no rebounding or assists.

So funny to hear grumpy guys fling poo against the wall like "Jalen Green cant rebound" .. Like what? That is probably his best defensive aspect right now LOL.

But also with shooting and basketball intelligence, so maybe not the best comparison.

Unfortunately there's not a Curry available and people are pushing for a kid that couldn't even be a net positive for a G league team.

You guys REALLY need to watch Jalen Suggs. He’s special in a wholly different all-time way. If the Rockets don’t take him they’ll regret it for years. And the same people touting Green and Cunningham for elite skills a player on each team in the NBA already has.

Suggs is an animal, playmaker, a has big game prowess. Special is completely different ways than anyone else.

I like Suggs and I think he'll be great. I just think Green has more potential and we need to swing for the fences.

It's a fun read but the article is 3 years old. We have so much more information now. I'm not sure why this article would sway anyone considering how much more we know now than we did then.

Fifteen game sample size at 19 against grown men in a more cerebral league. Nobody expected him to utterly dominate. The tape is great, the drive is there, the work ethic is there. The talent is most definitely there.

There's no reason for people to be down on him. Unless you're specifically looking for a reason to be down in him.

The best part of the article, even if it is old, is you get to know more about Green's personality. Those kind of intangibles are important.

Green is also the only player wearing short shorts, as he always does, far above his kneecaps. To be exact: 16 inches in length and an 11.5-inch inseam. He gets them tailored now, since he isn't allowed to roll the waistband up any more, per California rules.

This is his signature look. The look that makes him appear more like an NBA player from the '90s and makes him look even skinnier than his lanky frame admits. Other than the fact that he doesn't like the feeling of material on his knees, he intentionally wears his shorts this short because he longs to stand out.

"I want people to know I'm setting my own trend," Green says. "I'm not going to follow you."

That's the reason he calls himself The Unicorn: "I don't want to do what everyone else is doing," he says.
