No. I don't consider myself racist. But I am sensitive to when I see others apply that label without knowing the intent.

Wasn't there something out there before about the Yankees using a guy out in CF? I remember while waiting at the concession stand in CF at the WC game that there was a perfect view into the catcher's mitt from right there. First time in my life I had ever seen baseball from straight CF and I was amazed how even at the distance how easy the view was.
Whatever the Astros ended up doing... its safe to say they weren't the first to actually do it. Too much influence/coincidence with Beltran joining in 2017, and his explicit statements of how behind they were. Beltran was in Texas and NY just prior to that... both venues with the ability to get a clear view to CF by non-fans and possible signaling (especially in whatever Globe life field/park... with all those offices/suites beyond the CF wall.)
