I dont know how you're foreseeing this unless you're on acid. Where did you see this at? He attacks in less than 5 seconds with little dribbling

So is he not a super athletic iso scorer with a wet jumper who breaks down his defender? And if he is, will he have the same success in the NBA that he did in high school and the g league in your mind?

Or is it me that's tripping balls?

Perfect example of a typical Green fan. A lot of things you can't measure to justify him simply not being as good as he should be.

Why or how does Jalen Green stifle KPJ’s development? The only one I can see potentially doing that is John Wall.

to me, Suggs is a worse pairing than Green with KPJr because neither Suggs or KPJr are great shooters

We already have KPJ and KMJ, both already better than Green...

There was literally no foresight whatsoever in that post. Idk how you can think otherwise unless you're on Crack.

I disagree, people love saying Green was playing in the G league with grown men.... Martin at 19 was in The NBA playing not just with grown men but the best players in the world already proven in their prime. And Martin was not just scoring, he was blocking and playing defense. 1st year averaged 9 pts a game and that was in the later half once Harden cowered his way out. In the G league KMJ averaged the same amount of points per game as Green except KMJ was also rebounding and has a height advantage over Green...

So why draft a player we already have but better?

    Super dumb rationale.

This is how teams pass on future HOFers sometimes.

“Oh, we already have Clude, let’s just go with Sam Bowie!”

no… I don’t think Green is the next MJ.

pick the bpa… if you think that’s Mobley fine, but in no scenario draft for “fit”

None of the players are a "fit" for Houston in this draft. We have no foundation, but are just barely starting to possibly build one and a cornerstone is what Houston is looking for regardless of position.

I'm just stating that we already have two players that do the same thing as Green, but better... How is that dumb rationale? So we just draft the same thing over and over and over again until we get MJ?

because this is drafting for fit.

it’s irrelevant who we have on he roster that does what.

what is relevant is, is Green or Mobley or Suggs or whomever going to be the better nba player. Thus the player we should draft.

Yes some of these are hype videos, but still fun. Looking forward to the draft.

Green isn't going to sit around pounding the ball. His biggest strengths are his speed and slashing to the basket. He also has a variety of moves. His jumper is good. It will get better with time. KPJ realizes he is best off being a pass first, scoring second guard.

At the end of the day, we have no idea who Stone/ TF will select. I just hope whoever is selected, will be a successful player for our Rockets.

This is a rather questionable take.

KMJ is a better rebounder and defender and gives 100% most of the time.
