Wow. Just heard in the Astros Forum He had a pretty good impact in Hip Hop history. He was one of the first rappers singing on tracks. What's extra crazy is I was playing his sample on a Mary J Blige song at the EXACT same time hearing about this. Make The Music With Your Mouth
He's been on death watch for about a week now. There were false rumors running rampant that he had died like a week ago that his manager and others had to come out and tell people to quit spreading rumors, that he was sick, but still alive. When a friend messaged me earlier today and said that he had passed away, the first song that came to me, and the song I'll always associate with him is "Just a Friend". I'm sure Blah Blah Blah is sad today. R.I.P. big dude.
CBS reporting Biz passing with headline news -- lots of respect for this man -- he just made you feel good always a positive vibe.
...as well as "Vapors," a hilarious four-verse tale of success and envy that proved to be a hit. In the song's final stanza, he endearingly laments: "I say, 'Can I be down, champ?' They said 'No!' ...and treated me like a wet food stamp." https://www.npr.org/2021/07/16/9066...beatboxer-and-just-a-friend-rapper-dies-at-57
