Dame is really good, but he wouldn't be able to do anything with this shet team.

Hell no unless you can pair him with another superstar, then absolutely yes.

No, but I'd throw #2 + other picks in a 3 team deal for a young star

    Nuggets for Murray / MPJ

    Pelicans for Ingram + 10

    Heat for Adebayo

Couldn’t do it in Portland. Won’t be able to do it here. Pass.

You have to compete for a title in year one if you do that. I’d do that trade but only if another star I’m not seeing today shakes lose and comes with him ala Kawhi/PG.

What the hell has Dame done that would make us want to do this? Coming off Harden, I rather roll the dice with the #2.

No. Only because we don’t have the other pieces to compete. It would probably take 2-4 seasons for Stone to put a contender around him.

if anyone would do this trade for Lillard, but wouldn’t do it for Cade, then come present your face for this slap

Honestly, I am impressed with this proposal. This is one of those rare deals in which there isn't a single party who would want to agree to the deal. That's not easy to accomplish.

The Rockets would say no because a 30+ Dame isn't carrying this sorry ass roster anywhere worth going and we would set our rebuild back by years.

The Blazers would say no because they can get more for him. I expect, for example, that the Warriors would do much better than that. And the Sixers would put together a package around Ben Simmons that could potentially be better too. The Nets would likely send Kyrie straight up if Portland doesn't want to rebuild. And the Heat and Celtics would definitely be interested too.

Dame would say no because he is looking for a better situation, not a worse situation. And playing beside John Wall and a bunch of kids in diapers is definitely a worse situation for him.

Again, just an impressively bad proposal all around. Well done!

Rather trade for Cade than Lillard. Dame has an impressive body of offensive work but it doesn't translate into playoff success beyond the 1st or 2nd round and that's with a stacked team.

So he would leave a mediocre team for a pile of dogshit.

it doesn't make any sense for anyone.
Dame wouldn't want to come to a worst team than the one he is already on.
Portland can probably get more value from Gs, with wiggins, 7, 14 , wiseman and some other picks
Dame is like 31, we dont even have time to build a team around him.
I rather keep n2 and get mobley as our building block for the future.
