Mercury is one of the hardest planets to get to from Earth even though on average it is closest. Also Mercury is mostly iron core with very little mantle and is shrinking.

If you really enjoy astronomy and want to go more in depth with it, these lectures really helped me.

Caroline Crawford's Astronomy Lecture Series playlist.

Sean Carroll's the Biggest Ideas in the Universe playlist.

Richard Feynman's Messenger Lecture Series playlist.

Also want to share Physics by Eugene Khutoryansky channel, SixtySymbols , Periodic Videos (Chemistry channel) and DeepSkyVideos.

SixtySymbols, Periodic Videos and DeepSkyVideos are managed by the same content creator, Brady Haran, who also manages Numberphile and Objectivity channels too.

Objectivity channel is nice if you want to see what Newton's original PhilosophiƦ Naturalis Principia Mathematica looks like kept in restoration or what Newton's original telescope looks like when he made observations about the night sky.

SixtySymbols to me was like the short 10 minute or less video explanations of a topic the longer lectures might briefly cover I wanted a more in depth explanation of to help better understand.

DeepSkyVideos is similar in it's usually 10 minutes or less video summary format. Experts Brady usually interviews are professors that work at Nottingham, Oxford or Cambridge University but he's also interviewed Fields Medalist winners in mathematics and other various experts in their respected field of research. There's typically very little clickbaity content he produces.

Physics by Eugene is absolutely amazing but it can be dry in it's presentation. It's the Dragnet of physics explanation content out there, yet it's bare bones approach at visually explaining physics is unmatched in my opinion.

Fermilab is also a really good source as well as the Royal Institute. Kathy Loves Physics History is also really good if you're more interested in the personal lives of famous scientists and inventors of the past and what they were up to as they were discovering whatever it is they discovered.
