    For a guy who think's he's the smartest guy in the room , he didn't even get Morey to sign a non-compete to let him out of his contract and Morey took a job with another team 5 minutes later .... So much for him being the smartest guy in the room.

    Take it FWIW but that “Hawks version of Cyberex” guy is saying that the Rockets are “inching close to a multi team mega trade” involving the Rockets acquiring the #1 pick.

    Based on the way that reads, it seems like it's just feelers that Houston and Toronto have put out there for their prospective deals. Anything is possible, but the complexity of the Toronto deal in particular makes me think that it won't happen.

    GM’s know they are short timers if they merely ride the current or makes splashes that fizzle.

    owners better be savvy to know that they better have some supervision on their team managers. Because a GM can leave scorched Earth in terms of assets in pursuing a talent that fizzles.

    If they do those this, they better be sure about Cade. If he's the once in a generation playmaking wing LeBron/Luka type then nothing else matters.

    It would be exciting to be able to immediately have hope for future greatness even if we aren't winning right away.

    Also probably because the Sixers don't want to pay Lowry $30 million a year to match Simmons' salary. OG has a $16 cap hit so Lowry at 2 years, $30 or 3 years, $45 is easier to swallow.

    this is some other stuff he recently said about us if anyone is interested

    “Rockets are interested in trade ups and they are looking to add pieces to help them win. They want to rebuild and win games while playing attractive Basketball.

    They already reached out to the Pacers and Pistons. They also reached out to GS and Atlanta.”

    “For us, just JC is seeking SnT options via agent. I am hearing there is interest in JC right now for a SnT but as a main FA is lukewarm due to the salary demands. I still lean to Atlanta and JC will work out a deal on Day 1 of the moratorium but if JC wants the most money, a SnT is the route. I am hearing the teams who are interested in JC for a SnT want to add him for a player on their roster. The teams I am hearing are interested is Dallas, Memphis, Miami, Minny, Portland, SAC, Indy, and Houston.”

    But is OG worth giving up just to get an asset out of Lowry for a sign and trade? They would have to really like Simmons, if Morey pulls that off....than wow.
