You are listing a bunch of players not taken #1 or in many cases, even early, so by definition, they are not players universally seen as generational talents at the time of the draft…
I mean, Green might be a good second fiddle to KPJ(if he gets his head straight). If I really want a first option guy, I would take Cade, I think he can be that guy. I really value passers who can score in the league.
Well at least Cade is a good shooter. At very very worst he can spot up for jump shots and never be useless
People are either comedians or flat-out insane. Green as second fiddle to KPJ? Every year there are guys on teams that have loads of talent and they just don't get a chance. Last year, some weird things happened that lead to Tate and KPJ getting minutes that they never should have gotten. They made the most of it, and more power to them. There are equally talented players that don't get that chance and fade away. But all last year did was give the Rockets an opportunity to sell high on these guys. Everyone here that acts like they are people we should be building around are lunatics.
You forget KPJ is still a lottery level talent who dropped. You think Green is hot because he had 18/3/4 in the G league at 19? Well KPJ had 24/7/7 in the g league at 20. I mean the kid had no training camp, was practically given a position he’s never played and even had a 50 point, 11 assist game. I get we’re excited for Green but let’s be realistic
Why are you talking about KPJ and Tate like they are scrub players that didnt deserve their minutes? Tate, especially would get playing time on a lot of squads.
What ever happened to just telling a team to F off, these kids are soft. "I damn near cried when I got taken by the Grizzlies at No. 2," Francis wrote. "I was not about to go up to freezing-ass Canada, so far away from my family, when they were about to move the franchise anyway. I'm sorry but, actually, I’m really not even sorry. Everybody sees the business of basketball now. That team was gone. The only thing I'm sorry about is that I went up there and gave probably the rudest press conference in NBA history before they traded me."
With all due respect, Dude, thats BS. As Ive said before, if you cant see KPJs talent, you are blind.
Both Tate and KPJ will have much better careers than Green. They actually play defense and rebound. They don’t start walking back every time one of their teammates shoots. They average a plus on the plus/minus scale as opposed to being the minus that Green typically represents. See past the hype my friend……
You have been put straight on your stupid opinion when you opened that stupid thread and you continue to spout your stupid opinion. Thats funny.
I mean....yeah, I thought that would be obvious. KPJ is the primary ball handler, Green would be a traditional SG who could potentially score well one day but he'd be KPJ's sidekick. KPJ is the better passer and the better scorer. The ONLY questions about KPJ are off the court and defense....and his defense is better than Green's. If Green is the pick, he won't even start if the Rockets can't dump Wall.
