Heard audio on 610 with new allegations. Couldn't recognize the voice of western media guy. Apparently Astros players (the guy didn't say which player) in 2017 would go chat up opposing players and tell them their pitchers were tippin pitches like ballas tippin 44s. Once they heard Astros players comment on their tipped pitches they would get mind f'd. This is now the new reason why Correa and Altuve did not attend lol It's nothing shocking since when the original scandal broke out I posted about Yu Darvish joking around with his former TEAMMATE Beltran before game 7 and Darvish saying that everyone around the league knows about Beltran. . That Yu interview stuck with me when I originally heard it the day before game 7 so much that I've thanked Beltran ever since I searched my random Beltran praises, thread is from 2018 https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/...famer-for-nothing.293052/page-2#post-11934615 What is most absurd and the reason I capitalized TEAMMATE is because these guys played with Beltran. That's on them. Suddenly it's when he arrived to the Astros that Beltran became a cheater, a spy. He couldn't have always been this way on every team he played. Nope. Just Astros.
When MLB moved the game for political reasons. When Satan Virtue signals, there really is no choice. It is political from the outset. It does not devolve or evolve from something not political. But it should have started out as D&D from the outset. Perhaps the Administrator(s) can move it there.
You know there is a forum for you get off your political hot takes right? Why don't you ever post in there? There is no reason why this thread should have started in the D&D it only went political in the last couple of pages. How about instead of moving it we just stay on topic?
That's nothing nefarious. If pitchers are letting that type of stuff affect them, they have no business being on a major league team.
Psychological warfare...Arnold Schwarzenegger has an entire section in his Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding on how he psyched out opponents before competition to get a mental edge. It's what champions do. Michael Jordan was notoriously good at it too. Good for the 'Stros.
I can't tell myself anymore. I mean, it's so absurd it sounds like it could be tongue-in-cheek, but after some of the things I've read over the last year+, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody actually believed this.
Well... the Yankees did play the Astros right before the break. Wouldn't surprise me if the Astros infested their locker room with COVID
