Any leaks coming out now about who’s picking who is coming from Detroit. They are trying to turn over every stone(no pun intended) and maximize any potential return. A friend of mine who would know something has told me Detroit hasn’t made their decision yet, but also thinks(unconfirmed) that everything is being intentionally leaked.
I think this board and rockets fans have over analyzed the crap out of everything. Cade, Green, and Mobley are all at worst an elite #2 on a championship team. Can’t go wrong with any of them.
Answer to the last question for Cade: GTFOH lol I'm with you though - we could use some good fortune after that nightmare of a season and folks jumping ship.
This is a move that will define the direction of the rockets for the next decade or more. Rockets haven't had a true core for more than 10 years. This pick will set down on that. any cost for the top pick, imo.
Yes, exactly. Cade at 6'8" 220 lbs can play pretty much wherever from the 1 to 3 (in fact, if his lateral quickness isn't "all that", the 3 might not be a bad spot for him).

Not sure why this matters. If that's the case then Detroit can draft Green while we get Cade. Seems like the Rockets are fine with either Cade/Mobley/Green, so there absolutely zero reason to give up assets to Detroit if that's the case. Unless the Pistons are willing to take on EGs contract in exchange for having the rights to have flexibility with their future draft pick. That would be a shrewd move by Stone.
How many of you are higher on Green than Cade out of the sheer reason you assumed Cade wouldn’t be available anyways so you’ve been watching more Green tape?
You say potato, I say potato. But sure you can look at it that way too. I would not give up much to move up. Rather take BPA! Make Detroit pick. If they choose Cade and Rox really did want him you try to trade after the fact or take best available or trade down if you don’t want Mobley or Green.
