Cade btw has massive holes in his game as well. The only ones remotely close to sure things are Mobley and Suggs, and given the higher ceiling you take Mobley and don’t look back.
Stumbled upon Prospect Development Web. Guy does video breakdowns and long form heuristics on prospects. Here's one on Jalen Green. Its a 32 page google doc with gifs. Not a whole lot of new info, but instead of just saying "he needs to get stronger and improve his handles", there's actually a detailed breakdown and gif showing the context as to why. Some parts I found interesting:
There's a video where jalen is reviewing his gleague game tape with some dude on YouTube and his habit of catching the ball and holding it instead of going quickly is brought up. So he is at least aware of it and the issues it causes.
I think what he's trying to say is that with Mobley, we should get to know our new franchise player. https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/getting-to-know-marcus-morris-your-new-franchise-player.206126/
As someone who has clamored to trade up to grab him, even if it cost one of our veterans like Scola, it is nothing short of stunning to have him drop into our laps. Today, 6/23/2011, the fate of the Rockets have changed. And I am not bull****ing you. This is a coup that makes up for the disaster that lost us Brandon Roy. In fact, that is exactly the caliber player we have just acquired. Mark my words: Marcus Morris will be in the running for Rookie of the Year. Marcus Morris will breakout his 3rd year in theleague, averaging above 20 PPG. Marcus Morris will be a multi-allstar the next 10years, bringing a championship to Houston.
Let's see, Jalen wants to be compared to Kobe. Wood is keyed into the "Mamba mentality". Looks to me like the universe is trying to bring them together.
can you imagine the toxicity in a couple years when the 'bust or boom' labels come out on this years crop of rookies? The receipts are going to be wicked!
You and I have been here long enough to know that's to be expected "I can't believe we took Green 2nd. I ABSOLUTELY knew Sharife Cooper was going to blow up. He should have went 2nd."
You know I’ll be bumping the stupid ass takes of all y’alls. Wait I have a life never mind. Green could put up some points but he’s going to be an empty stat player like Lavine, at best. Write it down so you can quote me again in 10 years losers.
That's your opinion. And claiming that he needs his brother to excel is stupid which that poster did.
Says the guy who claims he needs his brother to excel. Noel, Claxton and Maker are not as skilled as Mobley and can't move as well. Just keep doubling down on the stupidity. Capela was 7 pounds heavier when he was drafted.
