LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I've probably given at least 5 times as much as you idiot. I couldn't careless about some "supporting member" tag. You probably done what a measly $30. LMAOOO. I donate and have always opted for the who gives af if other people know.

You know what gives away a loser. Someone who actually tries what you just did bc they have absolutely nothing else. just absolutely pathetic. you've supposedly been around for a decade and you still don't understand the full concept of how people can support this site.

    So basically you can

Why does it matter? There are a ton of different ways to be successful in the NBA - being smarter than everyone, being more skilled, being bigger, being quicker, being more athletic, etc. There's no one way to be great. Guys like Nash, Curry, and CP3 do it through smarts and skills. Shaq, Wilt and Giannis do it through size and power. Hakeem, KD, and Lebron do it through a combination of the two.

If Jordan or Olajuwon were 5' 8" and 160 pounds, it wouldn't matter how skilled they were - they wouldn't be NBA stars. Giannis being bigger, more athletic, and more powerful than his competition is not a negative for him.

Haven't posted in a general non-rockets NBA thread in a while, so excuse me if this has already been pointed out... but to me, it seems that Coach Bud is probably not the best at coming up with initial game-plans, but once the opponent puts out footage of their attack/defensive strategy, he is able to eventually counter with a more sound/effective game plan.

Granted, this is all based on what I've seen in this years playoffs and some of his previous other stints. Seems like he's a coach who can work backwards quite well, but is not as effective when seeing something new or adjusting within a game all that quickly.

Obviously not, it makes him a top player in the world. I just find his brand of basketball disgusting.

Honestly.....yes. Shaq's passing was nice though, I will give him that, same with Giannis he has decent passing abilities. But for the most part....I detest the way they play. You're not a more skilled player you just have better dimensions. Also I hate idea that someone so physically dominant could be the face of the league while other players are more skilled.

Shaq had some sweet foot work though. I mean he definitely pushed his weight around, but he had a ton more finesse than Giannis has. As much as I hated the Lakers, Shaq was a fun player to watch during that era.

Do you feel Yao was a better prospect and had a higher ceiling than Mobley?

lol no offense to you buddy but in my humble opinion scott foster has really messed up the ranking of players in your head...

scott foster basketball is fake, it has nothing to do with the basketball reality ie making basketball plays on hardwood...and the real ranking....thats why it so often surprises and gives unexpected outcomes when the players go to the teams not supported by scott foster

nets had KD how come they werent lucky?
usa vs nigeria had KD and they werent lucky
    usa vs australia had KD
    still no luck?

if what suns are doing is luck then everything is luck
which I actually agree with somewhat

Better question is when you swap Yao for the older Gasol.

I think Mobley would be more utility and mobile.

Part of why he is situated so high, is because of his size and defensive potential but that is really just not much.

Luck plays a major part but at the same time the strength of your team can help guard against luck somewhat.

In GSW's case they had 4 All Stars and a deep bench. In our case we had 2 All Stars, a bunch of role players and a lot of chemistry and heart. They were the better team objectively cuz they had 4 All stars to our 2...are Harden and Cp3 twice as good as Curry and KD? No? Then even without luck they would logically beat us in 7 games.

Part of luck is also being coached by Dumbtoni, cuz Dumbtoni burns his players to the ground during the regular season. I'm not surprised Irving and Harden got injured cuz thats what happens to Dumbtoni teams.

It’s “athletics” though. This is the domain where simply being bigger/faster/stronger is ok.

Gsw didn't have a deep bench when they got kd. Pretty much everyone on that rockets team is helping their teams get deep in the playoffs.

Im not saying it isnt. But I prefer players who are more skilled than others, not just freakishly athletic. Its not inspiring at all.

You expect the world to be full of micro biologists and the greatest artists and devoid of construction workers.

That is not going to happen.

He himself has enough skills to get by.

And I do not think he is the face of the entire NBA yet, he has to join a major market to be that IMO and win titles.

Weird that big, strong, fast players have an advantage in sports -- anyone know the science behind that?
