Yeah, would definitely take Kispert or Murphy over another guard especially in the scenario that Green is the #2 pick. Ok with nabbing JT Thor as well. Adding him and Murphy, their length and athleticism would be a huge boost to a team in desperate need of both. Kispert as a shooting forward fits in seamlessly too, someone with his kind of gravity on offense would really help Porter (or Green in this scenario) or even Wood to space the floor out and make help defenders stay put.
At least he doesnt have a high ass or want to be a doctor. Imagine the scorn he would receive, may not even get drafted.
Murphy is longer than Wisekamp but he is not nearly as explosive or as a good a rebounder. Wisekamp is very active. And a better 3P shooter.
Been going back and forth on a couple guards projecting to be around these picks. Im pretty locket at JT Thor or Usman Garuba (Thor over Garuba at this point). But im torn between Tre Mann and Jaden Springer. Springer is not the scorrer Mann is, but Mann is not the defender Springer is. Though to be fair, i dont think either is a net negative on either end. Thoughts?
I agree with your concerns. I like Mann, but I will choose Springer's defense over him. Duarte is less likely to fall to 23. He will be the best choice here.
Regardless of who we pick at #2, I would not be surprised if the Rockets traded one of #23 or #24 for an unprotected 2022 FRP. The 2022 draft should be a very deep draft, since HSers will again be eligible. The Rockets could purchased a SRP and take a flier on a low floor/ high ceiling prospect, like KJMJr.
Love Wieskamp in the second. Murphy is my guy at 23/24 as prototype 3&D role player. Starting to come around to McBride too. Would go Josh Christopher if Mobley is the guy at 2.
http://www.tankathon.com/players/co...nn--miles-mcbride--jaden-springer--kyle-lowry I love Thor but if Garuba is available, I will grab him. I like both Springer and Tre Mann and it is a tough choice but if I had to choose one I will go with Springer. Springer is a Lowry type player. He really could be a good defender in the NBA. His vertical was 41.5 inches in the combine. Springer did not shoot too many 3’s same as Lowry in college. Lowry improved his three pointer in the NBA. Also Springer is only 18 years old. I added Hyland and McBride for due diligence. They are both good but they are a tear behind Springer and Mann. I think McBride is underrated though.
REALLY liking the idea of cementing the frontcourt with Mobley at 2 and then Murphy and Thor/Garuba/Jones. 3: Martin - Murphy - Tate (will play at the 2 also) 4/5: Wood - Mobley - Olynyk - one of the guys above
Probably both depending on if one of the trade rumors are true. But I'm getting the feeling that they are looking to trade them away period.
