Feigan with robot voice over: "Must keep players under 6'6"... cannot have any size on this roster. Size does not compute."

That is indeed lunacy. I havent settled on who I want at #2 but we need 2-3 building blocks out of this draft. 1-2 need to be frontcourt.

Seriously. I’d be pissed. It’s just dumb to add 3 guards to this roster. One better be a Superstar.

completely agree. Feigan’s Mock seems off.

Imagine Josh Giddey and LaMelo Ball on the same team at the same time.

Green has superstar potential. We don't need either Springer or Mann if Green is our choice at number 2.

    I agree.

And he seems to be practicing this nonstop.

Not only is he skilled and uber long point forward but he also has crazy intangibles.

He plays with his hair on fire, plays with high IQ and his leadership is off the charts.

I keep telling yall these so-called experts dont know what they're doing. #23 and 24 are what I consider team need picks. The team needs more skilled big men.

There’s no such thing as team need picks on the worst team in the league

I remember when Morey stocked like 5 pgs and guess what, Brooks and Lowry wound up breaking out from that rut to have the careers they did

Sometimes, stars slip to late 1st, really good starters slip to the late 1st, you pick BPA or risk skipping on players who you believe are better with more potential so you can ... bolster the worse team in the league that has no foundational player

It would make no sense, unless you're drafting one of them for a pre-arranged trade. The Chron really needs a talent influx in the Sports department. I quit subscribing a year ago after moving back and being excited about getting Houston sports news. I get better reporting and updates from Clutch Fans than the Chronic.

If he could shoot and was more athletic, then I would rate him slightly higher than even Cade.

That foundational player will be picked at #2. Those other 2 picks should be players that the foundational player needs to help him win. What sense would it make to draft 3 guards on a team that is already short in the front court.

Or #2 could be a bust, and someon at #23/24 could be a MVP

Jokic was a 2nd rd pick. Always pick BPA

    exactly.

Denver had already picked Nurk and then back doored with jokic.

Jokic ended up being the superior player.

When you’re a team trying to get to championship level and you don’t have a clear superstar or even all star on your team, every single pick should be bpa.

Ok. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Feigan must have been on Vacation when he prepared that Mock Draft and did not pay much attention.

But that was when the Rockets never picked higher than #13 and were always trying to find those undetected analytic darlings.

When you have the #2 pick, you need to assume that you are going to get that one right. Supplement that pick, don't add two more at the same position. This draft looks like there are players worth taking a swing at instead of trading back.

Would only trade back to 3 or 4 and then only for a massive haul. Probably the same way Detroit is thinking.

I am fine with Jackson as a pick, he has untapped upside.

Personally I am not drafting for position at all, I don't care if the Rockets have a lot of guards.... I am taking guys with the most upside that are projectable.

Jalen Johnson, Ziare Smith, Isiah Jackson, Jaden Springer, Kai Jones, Sharife Cooper and BJ Boston are all guys I am looking at if they are there at #23.
