Giannis stops and stares him 2-3 times before trucking him. He knew exactly what he was doing because he does this every time. Can't recall but did the refs actually a defensive foul on this?
Luc was good when he played that one year in the RS. But he was hurt in the playoffs, and gone the following year. Luc is kind of like D-Mo, where his legend far outstrips his actual time served.
The rule is you have to move out of the way. Not sure why the players haven’t caught on. Craig missed the memo last night also
yeah good comp w DMO... btw luc(tucker and ariza) were good but i like the suns role players better, more versatile, can attack closeouts, can hit midrange almost all of them, can dribble, seemingly can hit 3 from everywhere(pj if i am not mistaken has troubles anywhere but in corners), 2018 rockets were more one-dimensional than these suns....more options more freedom and harder to stop...and cp3 version is healthier...
Y’all remember this on Chris Paul’s watch. Josh Smith to the rescue and no James Harden on the floor.
ayton>capela.... ayton even has a midrange shot, what a bonus! plus hes not a liability from FT smh!!! how people think these suns are not better than 2018 rockets?
I have proven you wrong over and over and over again. There is nothing else left to say about the original point.
Ayton is better than Capela, 2018 Paul > 2021 Paul (but not by a ton), Harden >>>> Booker I really like Booker, but c'mon man. How many times has Harden missed the playoffs? This is Booker's first playoff appearance. CP3 is driving that show. The 2018 Rockets won 65 games, they took arguably the most loaded team in the history of the NBA to the brink. This Suns team deserves all the credit, but you are completely a prisoner of the moment.
The question isn't Harden vs Booker, it's 2018 Harden/CP3 compared to 2021 CP3/Booker. CP3/Booker complement each other better since Booker is willing to play off-ball.
Maybe, but the 2018 Rockets were objectively better in nearly every measure. Do these Suns take the KD Warriors to 7 games, have a 3-2 lead, and need a CP3 injury to lose the series? I just think you're blind if you think that.
I think we can agree that Ayton is better than 2018 Capela, right? Mikal Bridges is worse than Ariza defensively, but significantly better offensively. I'd rather have Bridges. Crowder and PJ Tucker are probably a wash. Off the bench, it's Eric Gordon vs Payne/Cam Johnson. That's a wash (or favoring the Suns), right? So that just leaves the pairing of CP3/Harden versus CP3/Booker. I don't see why you think the comparison is so farfetched.
A couple observations. -Pablo...holy **** he balled out. -Harden 15-18' was the best, some of those moves, crafty finishes had me up in my chair. There was a game vs the warriors the next round he went ape **** and to me is his best playoff game (despite the L). It seems he turned into a 1 trick step back 3 pony after and the consequences hurt him most in the post season.
While these Suns are good, they are not as good as the 2018 Rockets. This Suns team wouldn't compete as well against the 2018 Warriors. I agree that Booker complements CP3 better, but CP3/Harden is still better. Ayton is better offensively than 2018 Capela, but Capela's defense was better on switches.
Those Rockets and Warriors teams would destroy this Suns team. They were machines. Historically great teams. That Rockets team had two elite playmakers which made the offense harder to contain, which is why it was the only team that was a legitimate threat to a healthy Warriors team. Also, their switching perimeter defense was on another level. This Suns team wouldn't even be in the Finals if Kawhi didnt decide to take some time off.
