Nets were a bunch of players that are godlike at offense which can compensate for a weak defense. This poster is talking about one player, a rookie. Defense overall in a team isn't the same as the defensive capability of a rookie

 

I disagree. Guys like him who can defend multiple positions and put the ball on the floor are hard to find. He's on minimum contract too. Once he improves his shooting it is going to open up other aspects of his game.

 

Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Nicolas Claxton all hamper the defense as a whole.

Poor individual defender can sink a team. Joe Harris is not know for defense.

I really don't understand why people are trying to build a competitive roster from one draft.

You need multiple guards and wings and we don't know if KPJ is gonna stay on track.

I don't know anything about these guys but I am not drafting for fit with whoever goes #2.

Especially with a team who has no cornerstone players.
