Hey Jeff, thanks for the info. I'm still in shock about our draft this year. I'm totally pumped for this next season. I admit, I'm not a big college b-ball fan and never really paid much attention to Griffin or Morris but I read a lot and when someone is a freshman and is projected to be the #1 pick and we end up getting him, well that just makes me all giddy inside. So, with that said, hopefully proving my excitement, although very condensed, I and I'm sure others here would like to possibly attend the press conference. I've been to Westside b/f and know where they have their meetings etc. My only concern is that if it is for media and team personel only. Having the press conference at 1pm is so convenient for me b/c I get outta school at 12:35 and am about 10 mins away from Westside. I know u said u were hoping to make it out there, which should be automatic considering what u did for this city, but would they allow a fan to attend this event as well. I'd be perfectly satisfied w/ standing on my tippee toes just to catch a glimpse of our newest Rockets and to hear what the have to say. Also wouldn't mind seeing the smiles still on Rudy and Carol's face. So, Jeff, if u can inform us if we are allowed to attend, I and the rest of Clutchcity.net would appreciate it. ------------------

Sadly, we cannot publish photos. The NBA has a strict policy against allowing ANY fan sites to have multimedia access (audio, video or images) until the league can determine a long-standing fan site policy. If it were up to the Rockets, they'd let us take whatever we want to. I'm sure the Rockets web guy will take plenty of pics! I saw a story on NBA Inside Stuff awhile back that was really cool. Some teenager in Toronto wrote either a weekly column in his school newspaper or online about the Raptors. When the Raptors found out, they decided it was a cool public relations move to give this kid a media pass. ------------------
