I hope they go out and get a real SS if need be and Bregman is just a stop gap at best.

I'm hoping it's just a bad steak akin to Altuve in last year's playoffs.

I hope Bregman is able to walk.. let alone run... again, hopefully some time soon.

Bregman legs vs Correa back. Not sure what Vegas has the current odds at.

That boy needs a (non-Correa, non-Watson) massage therapist and a yoga instructor.

That will probably cost you 8 years/$240 large.

He was drafted and came up as a short stop.... the team had him play left and third in AAA because he was blocked.

And he's bulked up and doesn't have the range to play there regularly.

He's very good at 3B, don't monkey with what works.

    THIS

I would be ok if we didn't have another true SS on the roster other than the starter, and Bregman was the backup there with a utility guy playing 3B...but not as the everyday SS

I wish Peña didn't get hurt. Would have been great to see him this year and see if he could fill in reasonable for Correa

First time bringing the kids to a game. Get shut out for the first time since 4/29. Nice. Anyway. Why is Correa on the 10 day?

Undisclosed illness. It's not the 10 day IL. He can come back as soon as he's over whatever it is he has.

Simply put, Luhnow was the best GM in MLB. He built a team that won 100 games three straight years. We can only hope Click is close to as good.

If it is Pruitt that comes up he would require a 40 man roster move to come off the 60 day IL

Ivey or Whitely to the 60 day IL? DFA Jones? Bielak?

I doubt they want to start the clock on Whitley. Ivey maybe. I would think Hartman could get the axe.

I'd put Nivaldo as top guy let go/traded for peanuts with Jones, Nova, and Garza as next up.
Ivey or Solis to 60-day are probably more likely than Whitley if they go that route instead of letting someone go.
Pruitt, and Smith (he's looked better lately) are also options to trade. Bielak, too.

My current guesses for 40 man moves assuming nobody else gets hurt:
    Pruitt: Ivey to 60 day
    James: Nivaldo Rodriguez DFA/traded
Baez: spot opened via deadline trade

I don’t think they’ll 60 day Whitley or Solis, but it wouldn’t be the end of the world. Jones would be the next player I would expect to be DFA after Rodriguez, then Hartman. I would be really surprised if they DFA Nova.

If they add Correa and Verlander, it would certainly create a buzz in the AL Central.

I'm insulted that you don't offer me $1M for my thoughts. Who cares if they are worth it, I AM INSULTED!

Please forgive this old negotiator and my view that being insulted by an initial offer is relevant. It's expected.
