Eric Gordon has negative value. Please stop saying he gets you anything of value- you make my eyes bleed.

    Please, let this be real.

Give me the best shooter in this draft at #13...Corey Kispert

That's who I'd want at 13. He'd fit perfectly with Mobley or Green.

    KPJ / Kispert / Tate / Wood / Mobley

    OR

    KPJ / Green / Kispert / Tate / Wood

    Either works for me!

I would trade Tate for Wagner quickly. I don’t see another great prospect who has a chance to drop there though I’d hope the Rockets have done more legwork than I have on late lottery guys.

Sengun and Garuba are interesting. Trading Tate and a pick for Mitchell is stupid.

Let's just stop all this silly Tate talk for trade. He is part of our core for the future.

Get rid of the old vets that are taking up space and $.

The way trade talks for picks usually go is that the team is willing to move the pick if Player X, Y and Z are all gone by then. I'm sure a lot of due diligence is done on being able to move up, down and/or out of the Draft.

I want to see the Rockets move up. I think the Rockets and the Thunder are in a very similar stage of rebuilding and it could be beneficial for Houston to get ahead of them at 16 and 18. I assume they're going to swing for the fences on those picks.

I'm not afraid to trade Jae'Sean Tate at all. Not afraid to trade anyone, really. The Rockets won 17 games... There's nobody untouchable. But I think they would need to identify someone that they love that becomes available at 13 for them to pull the trigger on a trade. Between pick 7 and say 21ish, there is not much of a consensus. Someone the Rockets have 6th or 8th on their board may end up going 17. So I certainly hope they are exploring trade possibilities with teams like Indiana, Golden State, Washington and Memphis.

Yes, yes, we all want that to happen.
More likely scenario is paying a 1st to dump EGO than receiving a lotto pick for him!!

Turner and 13 for Wood and House is something the Pacers might talk about. Whether we would consider it...

It must have been a tough decision between inexperience and Thabeet experience.

If Giddy is there you take him ,6'8 pg who is a master at passing, causes mismatch problems on offense ,3pt shot needs work but he just got too much potential to pass up.Next is Jalen jhonson if giddy not there ,6'86'9 2 way player ,can rebound, defend ,and can score too.

I like the idea. I just don't want to give up both of those late picks.

Yeah , they don't want EG .... they want a young player.

All of the following have at least two years on their deal:

    Wood
    Wall
    EG
    Tate
    Martin Jr.
    KPJ
    Khyri Thomas

If I had to guess I'd say they are wanting Tate or Martin.

Not so sure I make that deal straight up much less adding in 23/24.

possible tangent . But , how good do you think we are trying to be next year ? Obviously how good you try to be and how good you are can be two different things .

However , I think this is a variable that many on CF aren’t factoring . How good do we think wood is ? Kpj ? Any other guys we bring back .

how much do players / talent need to improve to go from 17 wins to 30 ?

Tilman has talked the talk about having 1 bad year . Stone has echoed this somewhat . Of course , I don’t take statements like that seriously . But , you never know . Les didn’t let Morey tank. Was his model proven ? Can we get back to competing for the playoffs and “retooling”

our strategy might have been different if we didn’t keep our pick.

I’m not afraid to trade Tate , but I do like him.

if we are saying internally “we want another top 5 pick” then we should be thinking about moving wood as well . And if keeping him doesn’t impact our W column then what does that say about him ?

I guess you already said no one is untouchable . I guess what I’m really asking is how close to 17 wins is our true talent level ? Are we really our record , or did too many external events (Silas , Covid , harden , injuries , intentionally tanking) depress out W total ?

frankly I think Gordon can still be a player lol.

Ditto. People downgrading him because of his age? He was a four year guy at OSU. Maybe 35-40 games a year. Played one year in Belgium, 40 games. Then down under for 35. He has relatively very minimal wear and tear on him versus guys that go through the NBA grind.

First Team All Rookie. Due $1.5 next season, making him the 445th highest paid player in the league. The only guy presently on the roster with junkyard dog in him. A keeper.

I do like Gordon, but guys like him and House need to go. And please take Wall with you.
