Indiana is not going to pay players high salaries. Why do you think they want someone on a long term contract, i.e, possibly E.G? In addition, to getting two 1st rnd picks in a deep draft.
Kispert is interesting to me because he can pair with anyone we end up with at #2. Shot-making and stretching the floor are both so crucial. We don't really have a lot of that. Plus he compliments Tate and KMJ.
Best available. Kispert, Moody, Giddey, etc. Fine with lots of em, just want more 1st rounders in here, better likelihood of one working out
There isn't a single source saying Gordon is involved in anything, this is all speculation from the fans here. It would be way more likely for example, to be Tate than Gordon. Pacers have LeVert, Brogdon, Lamb, A.Holiday,Justin Holiday, Sumner in the back court, a log jam of shooting guards, and they are going to trade their only big man defender in Turner , who is largely agreed to have good value, probably more than their #13 pick, with the 13th pick, for Gordon and some late 1sts. Not in a million years It just doesn't add up. In order for the Pacers to take Gordon without sending out (Turner, Brogdon, Sabonis, Warren) they would need to send out Lamb and Holiday, two GOOD shooters on reasonable contracts. Makes no sense This is probably 24 + Tate for 13, 23 or 24 + a future 1s, for example maybe the 2022 Nets 1st (they could like that draft better, or some sort of 3 team deal that involves multiple picks and players combos Or maybe there are no legs for this rumor in this was just Stone or Indy GM doing due diligence.
No to Giddey by me. His shot release is slow and he is a below average athlete. His passing is amazing, but I would go after Jalen Johnson, Moody or Kispert. Give them the 24th pick and Washington 's 2023 1st round pick ( it's protected). Retain the 23th for a BPA.
