I never said he would pull 8 boards in the NBA. Christ, you people focus on one detail and miss the entire picture.

    What is the entire picture?

College vs. G League? Worthless debate.

The entire picture is the NBA.

And yet even with all those things taken into consideration - this is still a trade proposal made by someone who's on some real strong hallucinogenic.

Not necessarily, but in recent drafts where there was this one no doubt player that made the 1 pick uneventful like Zion for example is what I was referring to.

It seemed like that for Cade this year too, but I get a different feel. He may still go #1, but the static and surrounding noise concerning Detroit and the pick makes its seem that it isnt as certain as some may think.

I would say next years draft is deeper with franchise changing talent than this one. Im all in on Banchero myself, but have come around to valuing Chet and his unicorn potential. Hardy might be better than Green. 1-10 next year looks solid.

Unless it’s an absolute stellar package, I think Pistons pick their guy at number one overall. The marketing opportunity for them alone is massive and it’s something they need.

great point, and it throws some light on why so many top pick are busts and why teams that pick highest rarely ever become good

Always a possibility. But right now Chet and Paolo have a consensus that is potential superstar/unicorn.

The Denver Nuggets have promised to draft him if he's still on the board when they pick.

I was just using it as an example. Like I said, yeah you’re not going to get all those future picks but he’s worth more than a lit of people here are thinking. I never said I got it from a source or rumour.

I was just trying to make the point that It’s not just the player. It’s the contract and the trading teams situation as well. https://www.forbes.com/sites/patric...cap-might-force-them-to-make-a-big-trade/amp/. Golden state is in a unique situation. I would be trying to take advantage of that.

He a lock for top 4 he doesnt need a promise lmao. This is like saying water is wet or RJ Barrett had a draft promise from a team last year.
