No, Jokic skills is low post and shooting...but Jokic isn't bringing the ball up the court and taking guys off the dribble for dunks and layups like a wing.

Their skillset is just different but they are both extremely skilled.

Jokic is maybe the most skilled center of all time. Most centers would pale in comparison.

All Giannis can do is barrel into players with strength as he lowers his shoulder. He doesn’t break down anyone with ball skills. As long as the refs allow it, he’ll get to the basket. Always has been limited in actual basketball skills. Nothing has changed

He's definitely the next Shaq alright, terrible freethrow shooting and charging every other play included.

I’m not a huge fan of his skill set…. But it’s hyperbole to say he just barrels into players. He uses Eurostep, spins, and if the defender is not position creates contact… as he should.

It’s hard to put into words how bad Jrue and Kris have been. Jrue has been bad almost the whole playoffs.

not to go back and ORtg every game about what’s “important” in the nba… but Suns backcourt >>>>>Bucks backcourt is the story of this series so far.

He may do that sometimes but it’s mostly going straight into players bc the league knows nobody is worried about a jump shot. So the defense is always sitting back set, with 0 reason to contest

Ugh oh see the word maybe? Jokic is def the best passing and shooting big of all time, but Hakeem got him in terms of post scoring and defense.

I think at the end of the day you'd have to ask is it harder to be an elite low post player or harder to have handling skills as a big. The Low-post game is truly something hard to acquire on the level Jokic has.

I think people should remember the taller you are the clumsier you are, this is actually just science. (There is a reason you don't see 6'11 WRs and DBs...) Taller you are, less coordinated you are generally. So it's a lot harder for big guys to do all the things shorter players can do.

Skills for players the size of Giannis come at a premium. If he was even a little more skilled...he'd be one of the greatest of all time. If he had a low post game OR a shot it would be game over for the NBA. As it is, the man is still skilled enough to be a 2x MVP and lead his team to the finals.

And also I don't understand why some people don't consider defense a skill, that seems to just be an omission for some people even as we've seen less athletic players become great defenders indicating that it is more of a skill than something you are good at just because you are athletic.

Giannis has been incredible this game.

But is there a scarier sight for bucks fans than Lopez isolated against booker and CP3.
