You have to find someone willing to take him. I dont think Tilman is the draconian miser some make him out to be, but i don't see him eating $80 mil to get rid of John Wall.
How come the idea of trading KPJ is so out of the question? He’s young and his value is high, but he also has a volatile personality. Also on a good contract. Trade him to Orlando for #5 and whatever makes the deal work. Then get Green + Kuminga/Barnes
My god man you have got to do better pumping up your boy because you seem to be descending into fantasy land at this point. https://www.nbadraft.net/players/anthony-edwards/ 6’4 combo guard with elite level athleticism ESPN/Draft Express (click to read full analysis): Powerful guard with elite length and explosiveness. this…Wall will be a starter, so unless Green is about to start at SF, he or KPJr will be coming off the bench if this ends up not being the case, I’ll be shocked and eat oven baked crow with 2 sides and a drink
OK up until now I was Team Mobley...but there are questions going around about his motor. I've got no doubts about Green's motor so I'm switching to team Green.
After the disaster Oladipo turned out to be, I'd be surprised if Riles would want to take another chance with the Rockets and players recovering from injuries. Sure, Wall might finally be at least in the ballpark of being healthy, but if I were Miami, I'd run away from the idea. That contract!
Well, less than a year ago Porter was arrested and accused of punching a woman in the face and ripping her weave off. Also had a gun and drugs on him at the time. This, plus other behavioral problems, is why Cleveland traded him for peanuts.
Welcome to the team my friend. This has been my biggest issue with him since I started looking at our possible picks. There are so many rumors about it that it worries me. None of us are there to really say if they are true or not, but the fact that there are so many out there about the one thing you shouldn't have an issue with, is worrying to me. Reason I just can't take him in good conscience.
I don't think taking Green changes much about keeping or dealing Wall. Wall is likely going to interfere with KPJ's development since the Rockets view him as a PG. Green is more of a 2 and should be fine playing with Wall his rookie year.
Naw fam. I’m good. You do you. Jalen Green is a better athlete than Anthony Edwards. Unquestionably. I’ve watched them both play. A lot.
If you have Wall and KPJ, you won't see all that many minutes for Green. You aren't benching KPJ for Green and Wall wouldn't accept being benched for Green. Basically Wall has to go or Green's playing time will be very limited. I don't think the Rockets would do that, so if you go Green it'll essentially require multiple picks, the #2 overall pick plus whatever picks it takes to dump Wall.
Or Silas can be a coward and play Green at SF. Wall-KPJ-Green-Wood Silas is all about DEFENSE amirite?
I find it odd that Wall isn't just sent away from the team. No point in playing him, its only detrimental to us. Make him want a buyout.
I don't think Green's playing time will be limited if we draft him 2nd overall. I think Wall's would be limited. Save his legs and let him perform in bursts so that way he might find his way into a deal by the deadline.
