Does anyone remember Bill Bradley actively campaigning for Gore?

    I remember he gave a less than enthusiastic speech at the convention for Gore, but besides that nada. Have opponents in a primary every come behind the winner like Edwards, Gephardt,Clark, Dean, etc. have? The cynic can say these guys are doing it to get on the bottom half of the ticket, but I'm pretty sure Dean knows he wont be on it (both from the Northeast and all).

    In short, the answer is no. I don't believe that former candidates have ever gotten behind the presumptive nominee so lock-step like this. Then again, I don't believe there has ever been a pResident that has polarized this nation to the point where the opposition party would have it's sh*t so wired tight this early for their former candidates to do this.
