I have my doubts about Philly accepting such a deal. If it were possible that would move me toward team Green though as Simmons provides a lot of the D and facilitating from the front court that I so value in Mobley.
Admittedly was not a big Sharpe fan mainly due to his inefficiency. But he moves so much faster and smoother at the lower weight. I hope it improves his efficiency.
https://theknickswall.com/internati...-prkacin-rokas-jokubaitis-vrenz-bleijenbergh/ Vrenz is one of my pet cats. He is no longer a sleeper and is on many teams radar. The mocksters dont know jack, this kid will be special. And with his 7'3 wingspan, effort and lateral ability, should be more than good as switch defender.
Okay that's what I'm talking about! If Day'Ron Sharpe is hitting 3s now he may not make it to 23. Now I'm really back to my original draft mock. #2 Jalen Green #23 Day'Ron Sharpe #24 Filip Petrusev
Makur is skilled and long but he is so slow and lacks vertical pop, especially on defense. Vrenz is the better 2 way player that fits best in our 5 out and switch everything systems IMO. And Vrenz also adds the element of playing faster. He would increase Rockets pace and transition efficiency from day one.
I'd really be happy with a all-Europe 23/24 (Roko and Vrenz)--gives us some length and truly skilled team players to put around Wood, KPJ and Green. If we go Mobes, I'd still like one of those two.
I'm impressed by JT Thor. He's 6'10" with a 7-3 wingspan and an extremely fluid athlete. His second jump is very good. I understand that his percentages from deep are bad right now, but his shot seems fluid and his percentages inside the arc really show how good he is at finishing. Hopefully the jumper can develop. He's not shy about taking it. Meanwhile, he's an easy alley oop target now and can really run the floor. He reminds me of Jerami Grant. Not the current version that can shoot, but the OKC version who was raw but made an impact just through length, athleticism, and effort. I know we're probably looking for guys with higher ceilings, but I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on him.
Giannis was also 6'10 with 7'3 wingspan and even lighter than Thor, 190 vs. 205 lbs. And he also had to develop his jumper.
I'm comparing Thor to OKC Jerami Grant and you're comparing him to Giannis. Funnily enough, I also thought Giannis' shot mechanics looked fine pre-draft. Looking at old YouTube videos now I still do. Somehow he broke his shot in the NBA.
Giannis best 3P% was his rookie season when he shot 34% but only 1.5 attempts. Giannis career 3P is 28%. Giannis career average for points and rebounds: 20/9 Although his numbers last 4 seasons have been better: 27/11
Excited because I'm expecting one of Kai Jones, Usman Garuba, JT Thor or Isaiah Jackson to be there at 23/25. Bummed because I think that Trey Murphy might not.
