Right, even when you discount 7 or 8 guys who scored more per game than Green, he's still only tied for 19th in scoring....which is the ONLY thing he brings to the table as a prospect, in a league full of scrubs that are typically either has beens or never will be types that weren't good enough for the superior overseas leagues so they cling to basketball life in the lowly G league.....where no defense whatsoever is played and no one really cares about winning games so much as trying to create highlights

Since you bring up his age as an excuse for his pedestrian showing, how many years from now do you think he'd actually be able to dominate the G league like DMo or Hartenstein did?

    4? 5?

How long before he's on Jeremy Lin's level?

I'm flat out saying the entire "unicorn" concept is full of crap. Davis plays no different from the 4's of the last 20 years, where does the unicorn come in? Essentially, every decent power forward or centre is a unicorn if Davis is, because there's nothing remotely "guardlike" or out of the ordinary in his game. Porzingis is "the unicorn" and he's crap, as are most of the other players of that style. So which is it you're all advocating here, that Mobley is like Davis who is just like a regular PF/C from the last 30 years (laughable at best, Mobley isn't close to that) or that he's like Porzingis and the other "unicorn" crap? If Unicorn literally means "big man with skill" then the entire term is meaningless.

So you are saying pfs/cs from the last 30 yrs can guard pgs, shoot like a guard and then block other centers in the post like Davis can? Lmao.

Gobert and Marc Gasol are extremely skilled doesnt mean they can do what Davis can.

Hartenstein was like 24 yrs old when he started dominating GLeague...or 5 yrs older than Green is now.

You still dont understand somebody in the GLeague is much better than 90% of college players. Let's look at literally the first person in the GLeague roster Jalen Adams. Jalen Adams is a typical scrub nobody really knows in the GLeague, but if you actually look at his profile whoops the dude is All Team ACC and 14th best scorer in UCon Huskies history. So when he was playing in the NCAA he was previously a big shot in college, certainly one of the stars of his team. And that was when he was a kid, now he is 26 yrs old you'd expect he is much better than he was when he was 18-23 yrs old.

The typical GLeague scrub is somebody with accolades in the NCAA and that was prior to a couple of years of professional training and competition. Green scored 18 pts in the GLeague if he played vs the white boys in college he would prob be the leading scorer in the entire league.

This is from someone who is(was?) previously in the MobleyMob btw.

Anyone who is on here still discrediting anything Green did because of the "weak competition in the G-League" is delusional as fk and should be ignored from now on.

So how many years do you think it'll take before Green is as good as 2021 Jeremy Lin then?

I'm not sure, it'll depend on how hard he works. What's your point though? Jeremy Lin is a grown ass man with years of experience, when healthy he was good enough to be a 6th man in the NBA. It's not crazy an 18 yr old is worse than him right now.

How many years you think it'll take Mobley to be better than MVP Hartenstein?

Hartenstein just turned 23 two months ago. He was the GLeague MVP as a 20 year old.

Harty was pretty close to two years older than Green when he was league MVP. That two years makes a big difference at that age. Plus Harty's professional experience probably had him more ready than Green playing high school/AAU ball.
