Tim, I feel the "BIG" slogan is good, but now is pretty much played out. Something new and fresh is needed. But I also feel the "BIG" idea could still live on........

Maybe something like........... Rockets Basketball: LARGER then Life.

    Why?

Yao for one is Larger then Life. His size, his popularity....it all can be classified in that way.

This city and state can also be classified as being larger then life......

But how about us Rocket fans.......this could best represent us as well. For one, we bombard this board everyday to make it some what larger then life, in an internet forum kinda way. And soem of the pipe-dream trade scenario's some of us come up with can be larger then life. Some people here spend there lives following this team. Hell, for some people, the Rockets are there lives. And when this team comes up big.......its litearlly larger then life for most Rocket fans. See winning championships......for most Rocket fans, that was larger then life itself.

So if you and the marketing staff wan "BIG" to still live on, I guess this could work.......

Oh and BTW.........for most of the guys in the house.....

Tim, might you and your marketing dept consider using an advertising billboard campaign similar to what the Orlando Predators currently use.

If you have ever seen there billboards (which I am sure you have heard about) I am sure you would agree that would make most male Rocket fans pretty happy.....and maybe cause a few car wrecks.

For any one who hasnt seen them.......Model Kelly Newton urges Orlando Predator fans to "Get Behind there team!!!"

I know the idea probably wont fly but for all the guys in the house, it was worth a shot.

Um. We're familiar with the Preds campaign.

    We won't be doing that.

    Tim

(Hats off to them, though ... it's hard to get attention when you're a minor league team, and they've done that with those boards.)
