Magno has very very simple punchlines. His rhymes are weak as hell compared to Jay's or Jadakiss, etc. "I got mo red than Cincinati..." will NOT work. Haha.

I'm Asian. Why don't you go on my website (www.gotemrecords.com) and listen to my song "Run Da Streets". I think Jin sucks major nuts and his lyrics are straight horrible. He can battle, but his "freestyle" lines were written.

Simple punchlines or no, I still think that Magnificent has what it takes. And of course his rhymes are "weak as hell" compared to Jay-Z or Jadakiss. Those are professional rappers you're talking about. If he was at that level right now, he would be as known as they are. Give him some time. And while "I got mo red than Cincinnati" is not exactly the best line in the world, I don't think you can discredit the rest of his material simply because of that.

And I forgot Chingo Bling, although I don't know how that's possible. Funny, funny stuff.

Magnificent is my boy, I also think he could be doing way better for himself than what he's doing with Swishahouse. He's just rapping to appeal to the local Houston audience.

I just downloaded that video the other day. Swisha House is really really blowing up now. Still Tippin is played everywhere now. I was in Dallas this whole year. I know that Kiotti's song Hooka Hooka was a big hit. How about his new song Bounce Like Yiotti? How did that one do? I heard it on the radio on a break down here, but is it anywhere as big as Hooka Hooka?

Kotix is nice with theirs, Mic and Damien can flow. Actually one of my good friends is doing his thing underground in Houston. He has dome some work with Kotix, and if you like them, you should dig his stuff.

I agree. Master P is some washed up 45 year old wanting to be a thug all over again. He really just needs to take his ass back inside, and count all of his millions. He made himself look like a "fool" stomping around in that awful video.

BTW, is anyone but be getting sick of Lil Jon screamin' in the back of every bloody song?!

Man, I love Hip/hop & rap but Houston has the worst rap in the world with the exception of SCARFACE and FAT PAT (R.I.P.). Lil FLip is horrible and is the poster boy of what is wrong with rap. It seems like record deals are given out to just any bum who wants to say a few words that make no sense. What happened to story telling, and clever rap? Rap is full of "artists" that scream and yell about nothing, great examples are lil john, lil flip, Juvenile, and countless others. Thanks to Kanye West, Jay-z, DMX and a few others for staying true and actually rapping about things and not just rambling a bunch of BS.

Question for all on this subject.........

Besides Lil' Flip, who will be the next Houston rapper to make it to the big time.....and how big will the be?

Will it be Z-Ro, Paul Wall, Chingo Bling.......

And will they be a small time once-in-a-while dropper like Fabolous, or big time and main stream like Jay-Z?

Lil Flip is already big. I think he already went platinum. Z-Ro won't be the next to hit it big because of his style. He is more like Nas except with better flow/delivery. His style isn't really main stream. The next person will be Chamillionaire. He is the better rapper of the duo Paul Wall & Chamillionaire who's CD "Get Ya Mind Correct" sold more than 100,000 copies. His own label's CD "The Army" also sold close to 100,000. He has a big fan base already as his site "chamillionaire.com" is ranked at 17,000. His mixtape is dropping in less than a month and his album "Controversy Sells" already has many pre-orders. I except his to sell 200,000 independent. Slim Thug just signed with Interscope, father of Shady/Aftermath Records. I'd just say it's going to be Chamillionaire, Slim Thug, or Paul Wall.
