That’s just one comment and is more about roster building and hints of Tilman’s cheapness. Of course it was partly Harden but it’s ultimately the Owner’s decision. You are right the owner was/is cheap but that doesn’t mean Harden gets any blame.
Westbrook had a 46%TS in the playoffs this year. The exact same as last year. And the year before. He didn’t suck because of injury. He sucked because he sucks.
I feel bad for James Harden for the past season. No scoring title, no All NBA team, no championship... basically got nothing this season. His one of ex teammates CP3/Tucker/Capela will win NBA championship days later!
Because Harden wouldn't be dictating the culture in Brooklyn/Philly. Those are Durant/Embiid's teams.
LOL - sure whatever, now please go smash that contribution button for this site! At least one positive, I can find my haters easily and put them on "Ignore"..... Would love a "contributing members" only button where you don't have to see the freeloaders... DD
I'm also glad the team has some real coaching Not this 'Jack up 3s til the end of time' strategy and they actually play more than a 6 man rotation.
That is not quitting that is taking a stand for what you KNOW will destroy the team - when you are the man in charge, sometimes you have to stand up and be the man in charge! DD
True...true.....but I am not sold on Silas yet.....he looked pretty weak last year - but so was the team. DD
Well I know for sure CP3 has an awesome mid range game, so seeing that was great. Plus, CP3 and Harden weren't run into the ground by D'Antoni. Oh, the Nets had lots of injuries? and their bench never scored points? Oh Deja Vu
Phoenix was a great situation for Chris. He got to mold young lotto picks who wanted his abrasive leadership Clippers and rockets weren't the same situation and they both pushed back in different ways. Chris can play difference maker for a few playoff games but like harden, he could never carry the last three games (only one of them). Phoenix clinched without Chris 100% but it was still his victory since he had his stamp on the whole team, unlike his previous two teams.... I also think he slacked off after the hammy injury because he saw gaps in harden that didn't fit with his leadership style. Oh well. Didn't work. Wish him the best
There is some irony in CP3 getting knocked out with a hamstring injury in 2018, and now Harden is down with a similar injury in 2021.......while Paul leads his team to finals. The NBA and sports are strange sometimes. DD
I’m happy for CP3 and Capela. It took the Rockets years to build the team up, and then they just blew it up. I understand the frustration that led to the dismantling of the team. But couldn’t we have given it another year or two?
This team is Perma-destroyed with Tilman and fam. #2 isn't going to save this team. You should stand up and quit being a fan.
If Tillman's family is destroying the team, we are sunk - I am HOPING (Praying really) that they are doing a culture reset after Harden's get away with everything - and it ends up better......that is my hope...... But you are right, not real happy with the Fertitta clan atm. As for me, stop bringing your petty D&D hatorade into the GARM. DD
99ers can never quit being Rockets fans, even if we tried Our Hakeem/Rudy T-cell DNA and vastly superior intellect vs other fans won't let us Plus there can NEVER be variants of the 99ers or an alternate timeline where Clutch City doesn't exits @Clutch
yup exactly! why are ppl getting upset at anyone except harden and rox mgmt for allowing a diva and proven choker who doesn't know how to play in the present in the playoffs make player decisions?
