I have a feeling he's ending with the warriors. Mightve bombed it on purpose. Dude did not look like that in the playoffs.

 

Jalen Johnson is a mystery. Coach K mostly gets his one-and-done freshman to shine, but Jalen Johnson was an exception. One has to question whether Jalen Johnson really has "it". If Jalen Johnson drops from 12ish to 23/24, that would be a whole lot of teams taking a pass.

I think if Jalen Johnson does make it to 23/24, the biggest red flag for him would be "mental makeup", which is really tough thing to judge in a 19 year old.

His floor is a bust.

But what is his ceiling? solid rotation guy on a playoff team? one of a Big 2/3 on a championship team? multi-year all star?

At 23/24 the Rocket should take a home run swing on at least one of these picks. Jalen Johnson might be it.

 

I agree with this. One swing is okay, provided if they aren't any glaring red flags present. I hope he is motivated to play. The Rockets are considering him. They have interviewed him.

Possiblities at center for #18 pick, would be nice. I do it, most would not. He fits there timeline, not Ours! Do it Stone!!!

 

Miami doesnt own pick 18, OKC does. Id rather have 23/24 and Wood than 18 and Herro anyway myself.

But I thought even most experts were stunned by Juzang's performance in the tourney. It is just as likely that he just got Jeremy Lin hot for a month and will never match that run.

 

Why is his stock crashing? I saw he's fallen 40 spots on NBADRAFT.net.... I'm shocked he isn't even being slated as a 2nd round pick now.. A few months ago he was mid 1st round to late 1st round - now he's not even 2nd round mocked pick.

 

Herro is severely overrated.

Almost understand if a Heat fan, but on CF????

I really hope this kid free falls to us at 23.

 

Kid reminds me of Cade, just less mature and less polished.

But his upside is sky high. Crazy athleticism and natural talent.

 

Is Jalen Johnson dropping? If he's still there at like 15 i trade what I can for the guy.

I currently have him going at 9 to the Kings.

 

Hard to say how good a shooter he is given small sample size, but the the athleticism, length, and playmaking is there. Seems to have a bit of a headcase rep with a weird couple of years at IMG and Duke. I'd take a flier on him for sure if you can get him for minimal move up cost from our 20s picks,
