Some of you are wrong about just about everything. But this has to hurt. You said CP was washed? You said he needed to go simply because Harden didnt like him? Well you were WRONG idiot. Harden’s the one that needed to go and CP was the reason we almost beat GS

Bittersweet moment, but happy for Chris Paul I hope he wins a ring. It hurts to see him, get to the finals and have such an amazing game. If we would of stuck it out with (CP,harden) I believe we would of won at least 1 ring.

I’m just glad harden is off the rockets

better franchise in the nets, fans aren’t classless lol. The nets fans were actually grilling joe Harris after the season and not harden. I was shocked, that woulda never happened in Houston. The harden trade was great for both sides

nah that franchise has never had a player like harden in the franchise. They are appreciative of him. Night and day from Houston fans. I just feel bad for this number 2 pick we are about to draft lol. Houston fans are ruthless and cuttthroat

Like I said man...you don't know NY fans. They will trash their own homeborn player ASAP. This the fanbase that once chanted 'Trade Carmelo' during a FT...that's a NYC crowd there...if the Nets don't produce Harden going to be the first one blamed because of what he cost.

The only reason they didn't trash this team is because of the injuries, if they don't win it next year and the pressure of their expiring contracts confronts the franchise and them not owning their own draft pick for x amount of years...they will seek blood.

Also Nets have had some great players come through there and some solid teams...but NY fans are NY fans, they DGAF and are ready to throw their own players under the bus when they can.

Only good thing about them is they always fill the stadiums.

that’s because Carmelo unlike harden has been overrated his entire career. His career advanced stats are borderline average.

do me a favor and go to any current or former nba player you think is great basketball’s reference page. So if you want to search Stephen curry. Just type “Stephen curry basketball reference” on google and then once you click on their basketball reference page scroll down to the section titled “similarity scores.” Do this for Jordan, magic, Stockton, the big o, and jerry west. Then search hardens basketball reference page lol. Harden is the modern day jerry west/Oscar Robertson and the nba media is so stupid and can’t see it. Even had rockets fans turn on him. Jerry West and Oscar both have only one ring I think

ask basketball reference who is better between lillard and harden

curry and harden and so on and so on

basically any guard of the 2010’s to current. The only other active guards with a matching similarity score for both career and top 10 peak to Michael Jordan are cp3 and harden

the rockets had an all time great player on their hands for 8 years and did nothing but meme the guy after every game. Was harden innocent all the time NOPE. But steph curry and Damian lillard were ALWAYS bad defenders and nobody in their fanbase made a NO DEFENSE video for them like some joker did for harden. That video basically ruined any chance for harden to make an all defense team in the future. Even though last year and 2019 he was worthy of at least all nba defense 2nd team

like I said good luck to the 2nd pick we are gonna draft. I just hope and pray y’all wont turn on him or kpj like yall are already turning on cwood. Wood chose us in free agency and people on this forum already want him traded and to keep olynk lol.

This is not about greatness or who is better, it's how NYC treats their players. They are not going to be loyal to someone they had to bargain their future for and if it don't work out, they will boo him out of town.

We'll see. I know NYC fans, they have no loyalty to Harden, it's a honeymoon period and if they don't win next year guarantee most of their fans will blame Harden, fair or unfair, because of the trade.

Houston fans never once booed their own player and give nothing but love when players return. You're judging fans by what people say on a messageboard because some of them dared to criticize your favorite player, which happens for EVERY player on CF...but show me one moment where Toyota center booed Harden when he was a Rocket?

    One moment.

Green, Mobley, they'll be fine lol. Houston is one of the most laid back sports towns. The Texans suck for decades and fans still love them. The Astros get caught in scandals and the fans defend them to the bone...you are just downright wrong about Houston fans.

No one is turning on anyone, it's a forum, we're going to criticize and judge players when we feel they mess up. Yao wasn't exempt from that, Tmac, Harden, whoever. Hakeem is exempt from that and the clutchcity Rockets because they won. That's what winning does, no one can doubt you anymore...Harden didn't...

He's still going to be retired and given a standing ovation and be a houston legend though.

    Capella
    Tucker
    Ariza
    Harden
Paul / Eric Gordon off the bench sixth man

This Rockets Roster or starting line up, outside the 86 team and 94 -95 teams is the best ever. Yes better than Yao and Tmac.

The nets and knicks have never had a talent like harden. Harden is better than any player in nets and knicks history. They won’t turn on him. They sympathized with harden when he tried to play on a hurt hamstring and instead blamed the HEALTHY joe Harris. That would never happen in Houston.

Check out this headline from the New York post, the Houston chronicle could never. A part of me wishes harden was ALWAYS a Brooklyn net. Harden playing in the New York media market would probably mean he would have more mvps because New York loves their basketball. No way giannis wins or westbrick win mvp over New York James harden. Hell their was a push this year by the New York media for harden to be mvp despite him not even being in shape.

Melo only got the playoffs three times in his seven seasons as a Knick, got past the first round once; Knicks fans had every right to feel cheated.

harden literally won more games from 2010-2019 outside of lebron. Melo is a inefficent loser, he is only given the hype that he is. Because he is cool with Lebron and klutch, notice you are seeing lillard name in the media lately and ben simmons these guys are all tied to rich paul or friends with lebron. Harden dont mess with lebron like that
