I am not sure how anyone can NOT like Malone. He is the prototypical power forward. Big, strong, can hit an outside shot, runs the pick and roll better then any big man in the game. He does have his faults and I can appreciate the carryover of emotions from the battles that ensued back in the 90's between the Rockets and Jazz. But hate? c'mon... I for one would like to see him get his ring and wish that John Stockton had followed him to the Lakers for his last shot at a title. Those two carried the Jazz for most of the 90's and had a bunch of nobodies on the roster, and still almost beat the bulls. You have to give credit where credit is due. And to top it all off you gotta love the bow that Malone threw to David Robinson, guy was 7ft tall, ripped and soft as the stay-puff marshmellow guy. I'm out!!!
Actually, I would cheer for Iraq against a team with Philip, Shaq, Kobe, Payton, and Rick Fox. And there is a special place in hell for Karl Malone. Or is his hell just another summer without a title.
