Not sure if this is a horse that has already been beaten to death, but our bullpen as currently constructed takes us out of title contention. Click better be working the phones....

Went on a vacation, apparently down a wormhole to a world where Straw hits .270 but we can't beat the Tigers or Orioles.

    Damn you, Christopher Nolan.

Glad I slept through the game. Apparently so did the Astros.

LOL at a manager's job having anything to do with motivating big league players.

While small samples aren't indicative of whether Dusty is good for the players off the field, MLB players are people. While I don't think managers having a rowdy pre-game speech helps much, but things like Hinch calling Springer after a game during a rough postseason to reassure him he will still bat leadoff in the World Series is a part of being a leader.

Personally, I think Dusty probably excels at motivating his players (at least the bats as I think he lets Strom handle the pitchers).

Don’t like Stanek’s whole deal. Not talented enough to have long, unwashed hair and a paunch. Rod Beck isn’t walking through that door. RIP. Just looking him up now. Cant believe he died at the age of 38.

Maybe Dusty is great at dealing with the players off the field, they rarely talk about it so none of us really know

But WTF is he playing Robel over Toro again today? Since Toro came back up he is hitting .297/.366, he drove in all 3 of our runs yesterday...Robel is barely hitting over .200, and has 22 K's to 3 BB....he is 5 for his last 28 and only one of those went for extra bases (2B)

Might as well send Toro back to the Skeeters so he can play everyday and maybe be ready when we get a new manager

Any chance Pettis can start making out the lineup

I simply have given up on Dusty. He's literally brain dead. Should be fired after putting out the line-up card

Graphic details, photos emerge in restraining order filed against Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer
    https://theathletic.com/2682479/202...cher-trevor-bauer/?source=user_shared_article

she suffered injuries as a result of the second encounter, including two black eyes, a bloodied swollen lip, significant bruising and scratching to one side of her face. In the woman’s declaration, signed under penalty of perjury of California state laws, she said that her medical notes state that she had “significant head and facial trauma” and that there were signs of basilar skull fracture.

She also said that, in one of those incidents, while unconscious, Bauer penetrated her anally, which she did not consent to in advance.

“I agreed to have consensual sex; however, I did not agree or consent to what he did next,” she says. “I did not agree to be sexually assaulted.”

Toro is 3 for his last 18 with a .606 OPS over the last 7 days. He also played more than Robel over that span.

Lol.... 1 game out from the best record in the American League and 2 games back of where the 2019 Astros were through 80 games. Relax.
