Ahhh. You're one of those people who believe that garbage. Ok.

The fact that it's confirmed from the horses mouth that it was Tilman's decision to trade for Westbrook doesn't bother you.

The fact that it's been confirmed by an insider that Harden agreed to push forward with Paul because Morey couldn't trade for Westbrook without gutting the team doesn't seem to bother you either.

    Lost cause.

Shaq with the alienation and unbeknownst insults. Ya know. I think most players just want to be basketball players without someone encroaching on their ethnicity.

Well yeah, it was. He made the decision to do what Harden demanded in an attempt to pacify him. The decision was agree to force the Westbrook trade, or deal with Harden forcing his way out a year sooner.

It was a no win scenario due to Harden being a diva.

Klay Thompson was running up and down the Hallway trying to get back into the game after his ACL tear. Won't know until later when the Knee starts swelling. They'll likely do a MRI to confirm anything.

Saying "none of it had anything to do with one person" or "all of it was the other person"- most likely neither of those are correct. It was probably partly Fertitta and Harden's fault, and maybe even to a lesser extent other people high up in the front office as well. As average fans, we probably won't know enough of what went on behind closed doors to really know who's mostly to blame.

With that said, to me, it's pretty telling that we get a new owner and then our CEO who had been with the team for 19 years leaves, our GM who had been with the team for 14 years leaves, our coach who had been with the team for 4 years leave, our MVP who had been with the team for 9 years leave- even our announcer who had been with the team 35 years leaves (I don't think that's related, just humorously similar).
The Rockets had one of the highest winning percentages and longest playoff streaks in the league, and all of that left pretty quickly after Tilman bought the team. His reputation with restaurants that he buys nice ones then lowers quality to cut costs seems, so far, to be pretty spot on with how he has owned the Rockets as well.

We will probably agree to disagree on this and that's totally fine

When I say "none of it had anything to do with Fertitta" I just mean that there wasn't anything anyone could have done that would have led to a better outcome. It was a no-win situation.

When your superstar player starts throwing their weight around demanding really stupid things to happen, you either go with it and hope for the best or you lose them right away. The end result would have been the same one way or the other.

The absolute destruction of the team caused everyone to abandon ship because no one wants to go through rebuilding again after finally putting together a team that was the best in franchise history and having it destroyed.

Are we happier today if Fertitta had told Harden to "shut up and dribble", rather than trying to appease him? I'm guessing the same people who blame him for what Harden did to the team would be blaming him for not doing what Harden wanted and having it alienate the star of the team into demanding a trade.

Yep. Kawhi walked off the court after he tore his ACL against the Jazz (allegedly). In fact, he was literally making the same gestures towards his knee that Giannis did tonight.

Its pretty eerie to be honest.

Watch Adam Silver Shorten the Season to 50 Games, Except that the Playoffs will stay the same because of TV Money.

Decision made only because of Giannis, Adam Silver Main Attraction his 2X MVP.

Kyrie Irving got injured because of Giannis undercut him, Karma got Giannis now.

Intriguing question. I'm going to go with 'no'. Blowing up a toilet is an opportunity to experience the delicious food a 2nd time.

I’ve seen people run on torn ACLs for a bit. His almost certainly blew out his knee.

Let me guess, Tilman called Chris Paul’s contract the worst he’s ever seen because of Harden right?

    He was selling the move.

Again, would you have preferred it if he had told Harden no and Harden had forced his way out a year sooner. That's the alternative scenario.

So he felt the need to go on multiple National and local tv outlets saying that he forced the trade, after spending the majority of the season saying Paul is on a bad contract to protect James Harden?

That’s quite a stretch. I know it’s hard to admit because we are stuck with Tilman but it’s far more likely (and it’s been confirmed by insiders) that Paul was traded because his boss (Tilman) wanted him gone.

Yeah, you take the heat for your players.

Do you really think it's a coincidence that Harden is going around saying that he knows exactly what needs to be done right before the Rockets trade for one of his personal friends?

Just screaming "Fake news" when people point out Harden's ultimatum doesn't change the facts.
