You dont have to be KD level great just to win a ring, part of it is player ability and part of it is team ability. You can say Giannis isnt a top 3 player, maybe he is top 10 or w/e. But the fact is his supporting cast is weak take him and KD out healthy Nets team will roll Bucks team. Thats how you know his team is weak.
He is top 10. KD also isnt as good as you think he is lol. His supporting cast isnt weak. Dame and Luka both have much MUCH worse supporting casts than he does while performing better in the playoffs. Also Nets just have two players Harden and KD who are on a different level than Giannis.

Who gives production like stars? Jrue? I dont know any star who scores 6 points in the playoffs. On 2-11 from the field and can't even run a PnR. And Middleton 15 points on 6-13 from the field in 28 minutes in the 2nd game and 15 points on...6-23..in the first game of the series..wow That sure screams star production. And they do what Giannis does? If Giannis scored 6 points or 15 points with such crap efficiency you would have already fired your pitchfork. Oh wait you already have because you are salty AF
While very flawed, Giannis is definitely a superstar. You take him over Middleton if you're starting a franchise 10 out of 10 times. But preferably you have the option to take Luka over Giannis.
Giannis is essentially a 6'11 version of Westbrook with much better defense, but much worse playmaking.

Jrue played good defense the whole damn series and was instrumental in the 4th quarter in game 7. Overall their production for the playoffs has been very good. LOL. When people said their team was screwed by the refs, they never expected that the refs literally took their star player out of the game.
They are the as his same regular season numbers during the entire 2019-20 season, and a touch better than his regular season numbers this season. Also it is not like some teams in prior years haven't also had some luck with match ups. The fact that he is doing something only a handful of all time greats is noteworthy.
Miami was like 10th in defense(and honestly not even that good) and held him to a 49 TS%. Brooklyn was like 22nd in defense and he had a 59 TS%. Atalanta was like 18th and he's probably doing better. Im sorry but he's had it very easy on the offensive side of the ball. Not saying he's not a good player but are you putting him over Curry,Lebron,Harden,Kawhi, Dame,Luka?
Not over, but he should definitely be in the conversation for top 10 player in the league. You could argue he does more on defense than every player you named other than Kawhi and Lebron. I just feel the Giannis negativity and backlash, especially on this board, has gone too far. Much like the Harden backlash nationally went too far before he went to Brooklyn.
