    I believe it's a remote possibility. I agree it's probably a red herring.

Cade has already stated that his preferred landing spot is Houston.

You think he wants to go to Detroit or Cleveland?

Trade assets to move up to get the guy you can most likely get at #2. Very smart play. 11D Chess play.

I think all the prospects want to go to Houston. I think the word is that it's a great spot for a young black athlete to shine. Decent size market and already have good pieces in place.

Or, lose generational talent because you aren't willing to mitigate risk with a mediocre draft pick.

    Double D Chess play...

Since when is the number 2 pick mediocre? Especially one in this strong of a draft.

I’m for moving up to draft Cade if able. But moving up to draft Green is foolish.

Killian Hayes was really good last year.

My guess is that moving up would require Detroit's own pick.

Losing that wouldn't be a big deal if Cade was in fact a super stud franchise player.

So did we confirm if he did or didn't say this? I've seen it a few times, but can't find where he actually said it. If so, cause for Detroit to think twice, but ultimately draft who they want.

I believe them thinking of Green seriously is legit. Their GM isn't complete swayed by national media. Just look at when he drafted Westbrook where some thought was too high that year. And he was right might I add.... But there's some smoke and some fire here, but how much is the question? Are we at remote possibility or very legit possibility? That's the real question.

I would trade that pick back to them, along with #2, if it meant getting Cade. I'd rather take my chances with a top 3 pick than with a mid first round pick, if it even conveys, or 2 secound round picks down the road.
