Sanches is looking exactly how I envisioned him, too bad Kovac inexplicably stopped playing him after being Player of the Month in September. Guy always was a beast in practice and tried so hard, but got extremely inconsistent playing time even during good stretches (especially in his final season).
What an idiotic play by De Ligt. Cost his team the Euros. Not only does he take a swipe at the ball with his hands but then has the audacity to actually follow through with the backward hand motion. That's a no no with the VAR system.

Yep... Such an easy schedule and still not even making the quarter finals. I do have to say this loss doesn't hurt as much as previous tournaments. I never thought we had a chance at winning it all. So it was just about how far we come before we lost. Yes we could have made it to the semi finals, but that would have been fools gold. Maybe now we get a better coach. I mean 1998 really hurt (maybe also because I was a teenager back then). Just for old time sake. With the best commentator ever (The first thing he says is.
