Hollinger and I are of same mind about many of these players.

    Mobley is at least 1B.

Scottie Barnes is going to be the surprise riser.

    Sengun is the wildcard IMO.

I respectfully disagree with all of these.

Suggs is a bit bigger than Ellis (taller, longer, has about 30lbs on him). He is a dynamic playmaker that impacts the offense in a multitude of ways vs Ellis who was more of a Lou Williams undersized bucket-getter type. He will be a plus defender at the NBA level, while Ellis was always sub-par. Suggs does not (yet) have the offensive game Ellis brought to the league. Suggs comes off as a natural born leader/winner, Ellis never really demonstrated those traits.

The second one is the closest of the three. DeRozan at 6'7 is a 2/3 wing vs Green who projects as a guard. Both are athletic but Green has a more complete offensive arsenal that does not rely on pure athleticism as much as a young DeRozan did. Biggest difference is Green comes into the league a vastly better shooter than DeRozan is even now. Green is a certified scorer anywhere on the court, DeRozan had a more refined midrange game coming in. DeRozan is a competent playmaker, something Green must work on.

Last one is puzzling. Danny Manning had a complete offensive game for a big, and but for knee injuries early on in his career, would have left more of a mark on the league as a scorer. In college he was the man. While I have high hopes for Mobley, his offensive game isn't close to where Manning's was coming into the league. I also don't think Mobley is slower. Will have to compare combine results but it would not surprise me if Mobley's metrics grade out better. Mobley is also known for his defense from blocking shots to switching onto guards on the perimeter. Different eras are hard to compare, but Manning was an average defender when he was healthy, and a below average defender for most of his NBA career.

If you take the blue pill the rockets will win 10 championships and you will eat steak. Or you can take the red pill where the Rockets will take 10 years just to become relevant and you will eat protein soup.

Like Capela? Because athletic bigs can be found later on the draft. Green is a shot creator that can give you 25ppg. That's more valuable in today's game

Why are they being traded? Not because of Dame or CJ

    Capela is an outlier.

Also, Zach Lavine scores a ton of points and doesn't win his team games. We have to move away from this idea that if you just average a lot of points you are helping your team win games. It's just not true.

Problem is we have no offense, we need ppl that can get buckets at any time.

No offense? KPJ, Wood, Wall, all guys that can score. KPJ played the same season as Green in the G and was a much better scorer. KPJ just had a 50 point game as well...so I don't know about having 'no offense'.

Also, 4 of the 5 scoring leaders are not even playing in the playoffs anymore. Curry, Dame, Beal...these guys that can get buckets at any time didn't seem to be some major factor in winning. Other things matter too, like interior defense and defense as a whole.

How does adding a traditional SG who would've been the second or third best scorer on the RGV Vipers last year make that better?

I like Scottie Barnes ... but isn’t he a PF ? How many times they referenced him as a
PG makes the whole article suspect ... or does he handle the ball ?

The Bulls suck with or without Lavine. You need the right complimentary pieces surrounding your scorer, in which i believe we already do in KPJ & Wood. Drafting another bigman when you already have a 20 & 10 center will get GM's fired. The Rockets need shot creators

I hope you have the humility to admit that you were wrong if Jalen Green averages more than 20 points a game in his rookie season.

Passing on a unicorn skilled 7 footer and instead drafting a Terrence Ross clone when you only have one player over 6'6 on your roster should get GM's fired.
