It wasn't a hitch he shot it high over his head. It was just a funny release.

    Definitely Head over Wafer.

If I recall correctly we had the chance to draft Rudy Gay somewhere in the same time period we had Luther Head and the GARM was ecstatic about a near Gay-Head combo

We had the chance to get Brandon Roy but we wanted Shane Battier because of the GM

I remember a thread about how far forward he jumps into his shot.

His shot is a classic example of Sweep and Sway mechanics that a lot of little guys use to get power and added height on their release, even on open catch and shoot. Nowadays some want to say they are fishing for fouls, but back then, no foul, thus demonstrating how those mechanics is fundamental to many shooters.

It is crazy to me that I can remember being at the Toyota Center, chanting along with thousands of people, "We want Head! We want Head!"

Watching clips from that era. I'm reminded of that baggy was common; most players didn't tuck their upper jersey too tight, where it became form fitting.

Yes and No. We won a meaningless last game of the season that gave Portland the tie-breaker. Had we just lost, We could have gotten Roy.

Very similar to what Minnesota did this year. They won a bunch of meaningless games at the end otf the year and lost their pick outright. I would be furious if I was a Minnesota fan. Add Cunningham to that team, and they are poised to upset somebody in the playoffs,
